The Bicycle Club of Philadelphia (BCP), founded in 1979, is dedicated to
the encouragement of all aspects of bicycling, including touring and mountain
biking.
The purpose of the club is: to sponsor recreational cycling activities,
encourage bicycling as a transportation alternative and to promote bicyclists'
rights and safe bicycling practices. BCP is a volunteer, non-profit organization.
Dues are $15 if you get the QR newsletter by email or from the
Website, $20 if you get the paper newsletter via US mail.
Membership provides you with our monthly 12 page newsletter,
the "Quick Release"- chock full of rides and cycling
information- and also entitles you to discounts
at many area bike shops!

BCP offers many regular rides, for both beginners and advanced riders. Cycling around the Philadelphia area is always special and that's true all season long!
Everyone is welcome on our rides, regardless of whether you are a member. Just bring a helmet and your bike!

Member dues are only $15 for those who get the 12 page monthly newsletter, the "Quick Release", by e-mail or from the Website. It's in the form of a 'PDF' file, which can be viewed or printed with the free Acrobat Reader. It looks exactly like the printed-&-mailed version, and even has color! Look at this sample. And it's available earlier than the paper version. Easy! Save trees...save money! Most of our membership now subscribes this way. If you want the US-mailed paper newsletter, dues are $20.
