Founded in 1979, The Bicycle Club of Philadelphia ("BCP") is a recreational biking group which offers a wide variety of rides throughout the Greater Delaware Valley for cyclists of all abilities and interests, and is the 2009 winner of Philadelphia Magazine's Best of Philly award for Intramural Sport.

BCP is a volunteer, non-profit organization. We are proud to be affiliated with organizations such as The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, The League of American Bicyclists, The Bicycle Access Council and Neighborhood Bike Works.

Member's Guide

Charitable Contributions

The BCP Board has recently determined the club's 2012 charitable contributions and/or memberships to various bike related organizations that benefit the biking community in general and our members. To view the allocation, please first log in, and then click the Resources Link in the Member Access menu.

Bike Shop Discounts

Discounts at participating bike shops are available to BCP members upon showing the membership card (located on the last page of their most recent QR). Certain bike shops can also check online whether a customer actually is a BCP member (encourage them to contact the club if they don't have this feature).

Mailing List
The club sponsors an email list/list-serve. It contains the latest ride information and is where you can exchange experiences and information about biking. more information is available under the "More" menu Item and then "E-Mail List".

Road Cleanup June 30, 2013; BCP and the Brandywine Bicycle Club share Adopt-a-Highway responsibility for a stretch of Yellow Springs Rd. The next cleanup is scheduled for June 30, 2013.
