Sunday Morning Breakfast Ride. Class C, up to 30 miles. Meet 8:45 at the SE corner
of 22nd & Spring Garden for a delightful ride to a delightful place to have
a delightful breakfast. Bring locks and money for brunch in the middle of the ride.
We always need volunteers to lead us to delightful eating spots and pretty biking

B Ramble. Class B, 14-15 MPH, approx. 40 miles. Meet at the Italian Fountain behind
the Art Museum at noon. Check the Monthly Calendar for leaders, ride descriptions,
and cancellations.
Sunny Sunday Afternoon Ride. Class D. The regular Sunny Sunday ride will begin when
the weather is warmer. Meanwhile, check the Monthly Ride Listings for some D rides.
Sunny Sunday Spin-Off Ride. Class C, usually 25-30 miles. A true C ride which cheerfully
waits to regroup. All welcome. Meets 12:15 at the rock near the Italian Fountain,

Mondays
Monday on the Main Line. Class B/B-. 13-15 MPH, 20-30 miles. Are you trapped on
the Main Line? Was your weekend a washout? Then try this new Monday evening ride
leaving at 6 PM from Church of the Saviour ("COS") parking lot in Wayne, Pa. COS
is located at 651 N. Wayne Ave, between Eagle Rd and Upper Gulph Rd, 5 mins off
the St. Davids/Villanova exit of Rt. 476. Big parking lot and water/bathrooms. We'll
ride in Montco, Delco and Chestco. Terrain can be hilly. Looking for additional

Tuesdays
Evening Ride from Mt. Airy. Class B-, 13-14 MPH. Meet at the Allen's Lane Train
Station at the corner of Allen's Lane and Cresheim Road. We will start out in early
April for about 20 miles, gradually increasing to about 30 miles as the days get
longer. Starts promptly at 6 PM. Leader: Jeff Bakely, 215-843-1093, jbakely@verizon.net.
Vocabulary Ride. Class C/C-, 11-13 MPH, 10-15 miles. On April 4, the Vocabulary
Ride starts another season of spins through southern Delco. Beginners are welcome
but are asked to call at least a day ahead of the ride. Meet us at 6 PM at the Pathmark
on MacDade Blvd. in Folsom. Leader: Dave Trout, 610-368-0760, brider-ride@usa.net.
Wednesdays
MTB on the Pennypack Trails. Class B-/C+, approx 1.5 hours of riding. Starts from
the Pine Road entrance to Pennypack Park at 6:30 PM. Lights and a trail permit are
required. Trail permits can be obtained via download at www.phila.gov/fairpark/newsletter_files/FPC_trail_permit_2005.pdf.
Come enjoy the great outdoors (without cars) after dark! Depending on weather and/or
trail conditions, the ride may be rescheduled for either Tuesday or Thursday evening.
Cold temperatures do not cause cancellation. Call or e-mail to confirm that the

Thursdays
Training Ride. Class C+, approximately 26 miles. Departs 5:59 PM from Italian Fountain.
We'll do the traditional "3 Hill Challenge" but with variations and some new scenery.
We'll push ourselves (it's a training ride) but no one will be dropped. Leader:

Classes B- (14-16 MPH) and C (12-14 MPH), 19- 25+ miles. We'll adjust the pace and
distance as the season progresses. Meet at 6:00 (6:15 in May), or 1/2 hour earlier
for an easy 3-5 mile warm up. Starts at the Spring Mill train station parking lot
near E. Hector St. and E. North Lane in Conshohocken. From Ridge Ave, take Barren
Hill Rd to first light, then left to the station. We'll ride towards Valley Forge
and beyond, returning before darkness. No cars, hills or cue sheets. No one left
behind. Bring money for pizza afterwards on the 2nd Thursday of the month (April

Fridays
Wallyball. April 7 and 21. Come to the Aquatic & Fitness Center at Riverside
Racquet at 600 Righters Ferry Road, Bala Cynwyd at 7 PM for a fun and invigorating
game of Wallyball. What is that, you ask? Good question - it's volleyball in a racquetball
court. We play until at least 9:00. Cost is $7.50 per person. Bring your own lock

Saturdays
Blue Bell Special, Class C, 20 to 30+ miles by the end of April, 14-15 MPH average.
The plan is to get a ride in before the traffic become too unbearable, so an 8:30
departure is a must with a hopeful return by 11. We will meet at the Kohl's parking
lot at routes 202 and 73, across from the Center Square Fire Company. Bring determination,
coffee money and H2O. We will regroup if necessary. Rain or wet roads cancels the
ride so call before Saturday if rain is in the forecast. Leader: Len Langsdorf,

Krank with Kolman. Class C, 30-40 miles, 12-14 MPH. Start time: 9:00. Call first
in case weather forces cancellation or a later start. Come on down and discover
a new area to ride. This is wonderful, open flat to slightly rolling farm land.
We will hold a C pace, but faster riders are welcome and may ride off. Meet at baseball
field parking lot, Sharp & Columbia Sts, Millville, NJ. From 55 S, take exit
27. Go south. Cross light. Bear right at the Y. Stay right at second Y. Go about
1 mile. Laundromat is on left; parking lot for the ride is on the right. Rain cancels.

Laurel Acres Park in Mount Laurel, NJ, for the 9:00 start! Tour Burlington County
roads, one rest stop, pace will be held, with plenty of breakaways for those that

Sunday, April 9 - Four Covered Bridges aka 8th Annual Leprechaun Ride (Cont'd).
Class C, 12 mph, ~35 miles. Starts at 9:00 from Valley Forge National Park Visitor
Center, lower parking lot. A nice scenic route to Polish American Club in Phoenixville
to enjoy a Polish Leprechaun breakfast. Expect a few hills with an easy, flat route
back after the meal. No one dropped. Cue sheets provided. Bring snack, H2O &

Sunday, April 23 - Hill Ride Challenge! Class ~B+ pace, 6-16 mph, 45 miles. Meet
at Tree Farm Village in Pennington, NJ, 08534, on the southbound side of Route 31
about 3.4 miles north of Route 95, for the 9:00 start. After a short hiatus my hill
rides are back - but in NJ. My goal is to offer a series of challenging routes building
up to 65 miles by the end of the summer. Expect lots of climbing; long climbs are
treated as breakaways so each rider can climb at his or her own pace. B+ because
of the terrain, 16 mph max on flat roads (we work on the hills). Leader: Joe 'Parts'

Sunday, April 30 - Shad Festival. Class D, 16 miles. Meet at noon, return about
3:00. Leaves from Washington's Crossing State Park, NJ parking lot near the bridge.
We will take the towpath to Lambertville and spend 2 hours at the festival. It is
the best way to travel to the Shad Fest, as the town is closed to traffic on that
day. Enjoy lunch, crafts, and fine entertainment. For more information on the festival,
