We'll regroup as needed, but there will be an accurate cue sheet for those looking to ride slower or faster; please notify the leader if this is the case. It will be hillier than usual; expect regrouping if you plan to climb faster than at C pace. If you are interested, Route Map and Elevation profile here: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=166169 . Leader(s): Rafael Corredoira, , 215-747-0930; Thomas Lipscomb, , 215-880-5238

Saturday, June 2 - Classic Ride II: Mount Gretna. 9:15. Class B+/B, 14-16 mph, 88 & 73 miles. The one. The only. A very pretty ride through the farmlands of Lancaster County and wooded Lebanon County to the fairytale hamlet of Mount Gretna for lunch al fresco at the historic Jigger Shop. Rich Wagner will lead the original 88 mile version as part of his Classic Ride series. And it doesn't get more classic than this. The ride will start on time from the Shady Maple Market, itself an attraction, in Blue Ball, PA. From the city, take the PA Turnpike (I-76) west to the Morgantown exit, then PA 10 S to PA 23 W for about 7 miles. The market will be on your left, shortly after PA 897 joins PA 23. Please park in the back, right portion of the lot. Expect consistently rolling terrain with some sections of sustained climbing, but nothing approaching monstrous. 73 milers will stop once, at Mount Gretna (mile 37). 88 milers will have an additional stop before Mount Gretna at Doug's Maxi-Market. The routes diverge at mile 22 so you can wait until then to pick your distance. There is an option for an additional stop after Mount Gretna if conditions warrant. Pie at the end of the ride is on me! Cue sheets provided for those who want to set their own pace. Call my home number the morning of the ride for a go/no-go message if the weather is questionable. Leaders: David Ziccardi, 215-978-7531 (home), 215-913-1328 (cell), and Rich Wagner, 610-964-1484, .

Exquisite countryside with some rolling hills and a lush valley. A multi-club ride. No one dropped. Cue sheets provided. Bring sun block, fluids, snack, and money. The Daniel Boone Homestead is off US422. From the intersection of US422 and PA100, go west (seems north) on 422 for 8.4 miles to Daniel Boone Rd (at a light). Right on Daniel Boone Rd for 0.8 miles to the Homestead. Use the "jug handle" on the right instead of making a more dangerous left at the entrance at the Homestead. Saturday, June 30 - Saturday C- Rides in NE Philly and New Jersey. See Weekly Rides for details. It is supposed to cool down a bit so we will try the ride to Bordentown. We will leave at 9 promptly from next to the convenience store & Dunkin Donuts in Palmyra, the first left turn after the Tacony Bridge. It is about 30 miles to Bordentown and brunch. We take the Light Rail back most of the way; we can get off at any station after the Rancocas to bike the rest of the way. Fare on the train is $1.35 and $0.65 for those 62 and older. If there are too many in the group to fit on one train we may have to split up into two groups for the train - I think they leave every 30 minutes. You can look up schedules, etc under NJ transit systems. Madge plans to ride with us but we will be driving over the bridge this first time. Any questions, call Leader: Dick Trickey, 215-288-5907.
