Last year's Scenic Schuylkill Century was cancelled due to unprecedented rain and flooding from Tropical Storm Lee, forecasts of continued flood stage waters on the Schuylkill River and our inability to assure our riders of a reasonably safe, well-marked route. Thank you to everyone for their understanding. We consequently offered preregistrants the option of 1) a full refund or 2) splitting their registration fee between defraying accrued Century costs and a donation to flood disaster relief. About half of those who responded chose #2, and we were able to make a sizable donation.
Sadly, the Philadelphia Bicycling Weekend is a thing of the past, as the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia decided not to continue our sister event, BikePhilly. On the bright side, the Scenic Schuylkill Century is back to being held on a Sunday. We invite you to join us for a great ride this year!

Register by August 31 and receive this year's gift, a pair

Routes and
Amenities
Whether you are an avid or recreational cyclist, we have a route for you. Ride our 25 or 40 mile route, or challenge yourself with our Metric or Full Century route. We offer breakfast at the start, five rest stops featuring cold drinks and homemade baked goods, mechanical support, and SAG (support) wagons. To top it off, we have a pizza bash at the finish.

Volunteers Needed
Want to help out? This event runs on "people power" and it requires the effort of many folks to make it a success. You can even volunteer and get to ride. There are many tasks that occur prior to the day of the ride (road marking, baking) and some early in the day of the ride (registration and breakfast) that leave plenty of time to go on the ride. You can even do a shift at a rest stop and have time to cycle a portion of the ride, complete with rest stops and SAG support.
