Sat March 28, 2015 - Pottstown and Harleysville via Faust Rd

Level B-, 14 mph, 62 miles. Meet at Valley Forge National Park - Betzwood Picnic Area (by bathrooms). The ride leaves at 9:00 am. Early season metric century. 2 full service rest stops at 23 and 46 miles. If you have surfed the sofa all winter, this should NOT be your first ride of the season. On the other hand, if you did some spinning, treadmill, hiking, or other ingenious method of staying in shape, come on out and give it a go. The route is quite scenic, a bit hilly, and you may see a few roads you have not seen before. In mid season, I would grade it a “B-” (moderate pace). At a quick pace, it is a “B+”. We will be doing the moderate pace. Like I said, if you have maintained some level of fitness in the off season, this ride is quite do-able. If not, it will be a struggle. Hope to see a few riders. Start location: (Betzwood picnic area) http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=6325120 Cue sheets will be available.
