I hiked the route on Friday to test it out. The entire route was still pretty much snow covered, including Forbidden Dr. I had expected more of the snow would have melted. Perhaps after Saturday's morning rain and the warm weather on Saturday, there will be much more melting. HOWEVER, the weather for Sunday does not look good and there is a good chance we will have to cancel the hike because of rain. I will post on the ride calendar by 8am Sunday if the ride is canceled. If not, bring your poles and crampons/spikes.

Looks like the rain is going to start by the time we all leave for our hike and then get pretty heavy, so once again we will have to cancel this hike. We will now do this route on March 14th. Hope to see you then. Jim
