Level B-/C+: 13-14mph, 35 miles. Meet at Pen Ambler Park, Lower Gwynedd. The ride leaves at 9:45 am. For March 6: Pretty, 35-mile loop from Pen Ambler Park in Lower Gwynedd to Hennings Market in Harleys ville for lunch/snack at the half-way mark. Outbound via Centre Square and Worcester, return via Evansburg and Blue Bell. On our way to Hennings, we have optional rest breaks for restrooms/snacks at Centre Square Park and/or Fischer's Park. On the return, we can make a pit stop if needed at Centre Square Park or Wentz Run Park. Total elevation gain 1962 ft, averaging 55 ft/mile. GENERIC DESCRIPTION: Scenic adventures by bike on most Fridays, throughout the year. Explore pretty, peaceful roads in suburban counties -- Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, etc. Starting points will vary, so that we can cycle through different regions. Levels D: 9-12mph, 160 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum.. The ride leaves at 8:00 am. This will be a 3 day tour-2 nights that will go to New York City. Each day will go about 50 miles. The first day will go to Princeton, the second day will go to Atlantic Highlands. The third day will start with a ferry ride ride to Manhatten and a ride around Central Park. We will take a train back to Philadelphia. Further Details about motels, train and ferry fares will be added within the the next two weeks. Routes will be finalized in the next two weeks and will be posted.

Sat March 7, 2026 - Toss Of The Dice Butterscotch
Levels B+: 16mph, 80 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum.. The ride leaves at 8:00 am. 8:00 Sunday ride out to Lansdale with a quick stop at Backyard Beans for coffee. From Lansdale, we will head to Chestnut Hill Brewing Company for the "Cheers to Spring" event. We are aiming to arrive at CHBC at noon. Enjoy food and drink from the brewery at a 20% discount. We have a safe place to store your bike while at the brewery. If you don't want to stay for the event, no worries, but you will have to follow the route back on your own. The ride officially ends at the brewery. Weather looks great, hope to see you there! We will re-group at the top of the hill and as otherwise needed. Level C+: 13-14mph, 50 +/-- miles. Meet at Italian Fountain behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 8:30 am. Assemble at 8:30. Depart at 8:35 SHARP! Ride through East Fairmount Park, East Falls, Wyncote, and Flourtown to Wake in Ambler (at mile 22 or so) for 35-minute coffee stop (it’s all about the coffee), then return via Lower Gwynedd and Manayunk Bridge and Bala. Approx. 2,200 feet of climbing. Will regroup as necessary, but riders are expected to achieve posted speed (i.e., what our computers show as avg. at end of ride). Level B-/C+: 13-14mph, 44 miles. Meet at Pen Ambler Park, Lower Gwynedd. The ride leaves at 9:45 am. Pretty, scenic loop through Montgomery County, from Ambler to the Cafe at the Mill in Sellersville, for a sit-down snack/lunch. Cafe at the Mill sits on the bank of the East Branch of Perkiomen Creek. Lunch at the Cafe is at Mile 21. On our way to lunch, we can take a restroom break if needed at Mile 13 - John Clemens Memorial Park in Hatfield. Return from Sellersville via Telford, Mainland, Towamencin and West Point. On the return, restrooms are available at Bustard Rd Park at Mile 33. Route will include some short segments on paved, off-road paths/trails. Total elevation gain is 2421 ft, averaging 55 ft/mile. Level B-/C+: 12.5-14mph, 28 miles. Meet at Blue Bell Hill Park, 842 West Walnut Lane. The ride leaves at 1:00 pm. For March 8: Pretty meander from Blue Bell Park on West Walnut Lane, through Chestnut Hill, Erdenheim, and Flourtown, to Ambler, for a hot coffee & snack break at Weavers Way Co-Op. Return from Ambler via Fort Washington, Oreland, Wyndmoor, then back to Chestnut Hill and Mt. Airy. Rolling terrain, with total elevation of 1536 ft, averagin 55 ft/mile. GENERIC DESCRIPTION: Sunday afternoon winter ride, for those who have other plans on Sunday morning. Focus is to enjoy some sunshine/fresh air therapy with friends, curb holiday/winter weight gain, and maintain base-level fitness during the off-season, to have an easier transition into early spring rides when March comes around again. Starting points will vary, but usually we will meet close to the Wissahickon. Brief rest stop mid-ride for coffee/restroom/snack break. HELMETS are mandatory. Explore pretty, peaceful roads in suburban counties -- Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, etc. Starting points will vary, so that we can cycle through different regions. Please check daily calendar for details of each Friday's route -- terrain, mileage, rest stops, etc. Cue sheets and on-line route map provided for each ride. If weather conditions are not conducive to cycling, this ride may be replaced by a hike/walk, or snow activity. As long as we are enjoying outdoor exercise, and Mother Nature, in the company of friends, we'll have a memorable outing. Cue sheets will be available. Sat March 28, 2026 - Doylestown Central Park to Ringoes & Sergeantsville - CO-LEADER(S) WELCOME (ad-hoc ride)
Level B-/C+: 13-14mph, 49.1 miles. Meet at Central Park in Doylestown - Wells Rd between Turk and Lower State/Court St.. The ride leaves at 9:30 am. Pretty and scenic meander from Bucks County to peaceful Hunterdon County for coffee & lunch. This route has been slightly revised by Dmitri Levin, in order to avoid a couple of busy roads, and to replace them with quiet ones. Cycle through New Hope and Lambertville, on our way to Ringoes. [Hooray - the pedestrian path on the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge remains open for cyclists and walkers!] Quick rest break if needed in Lambertville ~Mile 15, or at Ringoes Country Deli at Mile 22. Lunch at Covered Bridge Cafe & Market in Sergeantsville at Mile 29. Return from Sergeantsville toward the river via the winding and picturesque Lower Creek Rd. Recross the river to PA at Bulls Island. Quick rest break available if needed at Bulls Island, or the Lumberville Store on the PA side, at Mile 36. Pass peaceful creeks and green landscapes. START/FINISH at Doylestown Central Park: Main parking lot between the bathrooms and the Kids' Castle. CO-LEADER(S) WELCOME: Additional Leaders welcome to lead groups for other paces. Sat March 28, 2026 - It Is What It Is
Level B-: 14mph Meet at 375 Conshohocken State Road Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004. The ride leaves at 9:30 am. (Departure time may vary! Please CHECK DAILY RIDE CALENDAR!) Various friendly rides ranging 30 - 65 miles (Off Season) 40 – 85 miles (In Season) with occasional century rides. We will regroup as needed, but riders are expected to ride group pace. Bring food or money for snack along the way, as well as a spare tube, tire irons and multi-tool. Sun March 29, 2026 - Sunny Sunday D Ride
Level D: 9-12mph, 12-24 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum.. The ride leaves at 12:00 pm. Casual paced ride through Fairmount Park and beyond for those new to group riding, returning to riding after a layoff, or just want a relaxing ride without racing through the streets of Philadelphia. Please wear helmet(required by the club.) Please bring extra tube and tools to fix a flat, proper dress for the weather, water, $ for mid ride snack stop. There might be a hill or two to help with physical conditioning, but we will stop at the top to catch our breath. Preregistration is required, please preregister by Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 12:00 pm.

Levels C: 12mph Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 12:15 pm. A true C ride, which cheerfully waits to regroup. Usually 25-35 miles with a lunch or snack stop. Some climbing is required.

Tue March 31, 2026 - Tuesday Ride to Lower Merion- NEW TIME AT 10:00 AM!
Level C: 12mph, 20-30 miles. Meet at Cosmic Cafe, Lloyd Hall, # 1 Boathouse Row, Kelly Dr, East Fairmount Park . The ride leaves at 10:00 am. This is a generic description of the ride which will go to one of three destinations every Tuesday:GET Cafe in Narberth; Farmers’ Market in Ardmore or Whole Foods in Wynnewood. Some climbing of 800 to 1000 feet. First part of ride will generally mean a climb into Fairmount Park, across the Strawberry Mansion Bridge up to Chamounix. And then proceed up Bryn Mawr Avenue. and on to our final destination of Narberth, Ardmore or Wynnewood. On an ad hoc basis we may include new destinations and advance notice will be provided along with details. Always a fun group of friendly people so come on out! Cue sheets will not be available.
