    Level D: 10mph, 30 miles. Meet at Cosmic Cafe, Lloyd Hall, # 1 Boathouse Row, Kelly Dr, East Fairmont Park . The ride leaves at 9:00 am. Tuesdays are Suzy-Jo Donut day at Riverbend Cafe without needing to go on to Bridgeport, PA. This morning's route will go out Bryn Mar Ave, the Cynwd Heritage Trail, over Manayunk Trail Bridge, along the Manayunk Canal Tow Path and SRT to Riverbend Cafe and Bicycle Shop. Return via the Cross Country Trail, Plymouth Meeting loop, back down River Rd and up Shawmont. We ride to eat donuts. Cue sheets will not be available.

    Tue April 23, 2019 - RIDE YER BIKE TUESDAY [BRING LUNCH/SNACKS, ETC - ONLY PARK STOPS]

    Levels A-/B+: 16.5-17.5mph, B: 15-16mph, C+: 13-14mph, 35-50 miles. Meet at Upper Dublin High School. The ride leaves at 10:00 am. Bring yer bike & sense of adventure. Some days we'll ride familiar favorite routes, other days we'll scope out new routes. Today we'll meander to the Skippack area and back. Rest stop at Evansburg State Park on the way out (mile 16) followed by lunch/picnic stop at Heebner Park on the return (mile 31). Expect lots of rolling hills (no steep climbs), scenic low trafficked roads, and good company. Will regroup as needed, but must be able to maintain the posted pace. Must be willing to ride safely & obey traffic laws. Check day of the ride if weather is iffy (rain cancels). RIDE STARTS @ 9:30 in May.     Level C- through D: 10-11.5mph, 15-28 miles. Meet at Glenside Public Library parking lot. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. CANCELLED for 4/23 - LEADER SICK. Scheduled for most Tuesday evenings throughout the summer. Gently paced, post-work evening ride to pedal away the day's stresses, suited for novice riders, newcomers to the area, and/or anyone seeking a low-intensity, relaxed, recovery ride. Cycle peaceful roads in Eastern Montgomery Co. Please bring lights in case we are delayed on our return. This ride meets on 3 Tuesdays each month. Ride length will increase with daylight and pace will pickup to solid B+ by June. Headlights and taillights required.     Wed April 24, 2019 - Warminster, New Hope, Yardley SEPTA Ride (ad-hoc ride)

    Level D: 10mph, 30 miles. Meet at 30th St AMTRAK Station, Saxby Coffee Stand. The ride leaves at 9:40 am. Wednesday's SEPTA assist Ride: We will board the the 10 am Warminster train. Meet 9:40am at 30th St AMTRAK Station in front of the Saxby Coffee stand. We will cycle to New Hope for lunch then go down river on the Delaware Canal Tow Path to Yardley. Return to Philadelphia on the 3pm West Trenton Line by 4pm. You MUST preregister because there is only 4 bike spaces and one is for the leader. Cue sheets will not be available. It is optional, but you may preregister until Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 9:40 pm.

    Level C- through D: 10-11.5mph, 15-28 miles. Meet at Flourtown Shopping Center. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Gently paced, relaxed, post-work ride on quiet roads to pedal away workday stresses, suited for novice riders, newcomers to the area, and/or anyone seeking low-intensity recovery ride. Meet in same parking lot as "Multi-Paced Rides" listed above. Rear of lot, near Giant Market. (LANDMARK: Flourtown Shopping Ctr has McDonald's in the front, facing Bethlehem Pike.) Please bring LIGHTS in case we return close to dark. Cue sheets will not be available. Please note: One Wednesday per month (usually the second Wed), Linda cannot lead this ride, due to BCP Board meeting -will try to arrange another leader on Board meeting nights.     Thu April 25, 2019 - Thursday Night Hill Ride - Parks-on-Tap Azalea Garden

    Levels B: 15mph, B-/C+: 14mph, 25 -35 miles. Meet at Italian Fountain behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 5:45 pm. A moderately hilly ride conquering 3 Main Line hills that regroups at the top of each climb. As the days lengthen, so does the ride and we should be nearing 30 - 35 miles by July. No riders doing the listed pace will be dropped. 50% chance of rain between 6:00 and 8:00 cancels the ride Cue sheets will not be available. Two different paced groups: Simon will lead a B pace ride at 14.5 - 15.5 mph and Gene will lead the traditional pace at 13.5 -14.5 mph. Bike lights are highly recommended. Optional after-ride drinks at Parks -on-Tap at the Azalea Garden (bring ID, money, & lock). Cue sheets will not be available.

    Levels C: 12mph, 25 miles. Meet at Italian Fountain behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 5:46 pm. A true C level version of the Thursday night hill ride. Early season we will likely abbreviate the route to try to beat the darkness home. Cue sheets will not be available.

    Thu April 25, 2019 - Conshohocken Multi-Level Rides

    Levels A-/B+: 16.5-17.5mph, B/B-: 14.5-15.5mph, C+: 13-14mph, 20-30+ miles. Meet at Jacobs Engineering Parking Lot. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Meet at 5:45 for a prompt start. Note that there aren't any bathroom facilities. We offer 3 paces on a variety of routes on relatively lightly traveled roads. Most will have some hills. Distance will vary with the pace and available daylight. Please bring a rear light for use at dusk, and preferably a front light too. Will regroup as needed, but please be prepared to maintain the ride's advertised pace. Must also be willing to ride safely and obey traffic laws. Check day of the ride for possible changes or cancellations (rain cancels), and if a certain pace is not available. NOTE: START TIME IN SEPT. IS 5:45. Cue sheets will not be available.

    Level C- through D: 10-11.5mph, 15-28 miles. Meet at Jacobs Engineering Parking Lot. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Gently paced, post-work evening ride to pedal away the stresses of the workday, suited for novice riders, newcomers to the area, and/or anyone seeking a low-intensity recovery ride - relaxed pace. Meet in same parking lot as the "Multi-Level Conshohocken Rides". Start by riding on the Schuylkill River Trail, and/or, the Cross County Trail, which connects the Schuylkill with Plymouth Meeting . As riders get stronger, we can turn off the trails and explore some pretty roads in the area. Please bring lights in case we return close to dark. Cue sheets will not be available.

    Fri April 26, 2019 - Friday Frolic w/Linda. Glenside to Evansburg

    Level B-/C+: 13-14.5mph, 51 miles. Meet at Glenside Public Library parking lot. The ride leaves at 9:30 am. Pretty route from Glenside through Montgomery County, to Evansburg State Park. Outbound via Ambler, West Point, and North Penn. Return from Evansburg via East Norriton, Centre Square, and Flourtown. Two WAWA rest stops - one at mile 18 (North Penn), and one at mile 35 (East Norriton). Total climbing is 2259 ft, as per https://ridewithgps.com/routes/12735572. GENERIC DESCRIPTION: Scenic adventures by bike on most Fridays, throughout the year. Explore pretty, peaceful roads in suburban counties -- Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, etc. Starting points will vary, so that we can cycle through different regions. Please check daily calendar for details of each Friday's route -- terrain, mileage, rest stops, etc. Cue sheets and on-line route map will be provided for each ride. If weather conditions are not conducive to cycling, this ride may be replaced by a hike/walk (on foot). As long as we are enjoying outdoor physical exercise, and Mother Nature, in the company of friends, we'll have a memorable outing. Cue sheets will be available.     Levels A: 18mph, 40-55 miles. Meet at Main Line Cycles front of shop 919 Montgomery Ave. The ride leaves at 8:05 am. Great roads with low traffic. We have a few routes that bring us out around or through Ridley Creek State Park. Average speed will be 16-17 mph, but note that these routes include over 4000' of climbing. Bring a snack for a brief mid-ride break. Consider the on-line routes approximate. Leave by 8:05 AM. Rain cancels. Cue sheets will not be available. D riders , get ready for Summer cycling by going a little bit farther, a little bit faster with a little bit more confidence and skill on this progressive series D rides on each Saturday of April. Cycle each Saturday over the Schuylkill River Trail to Conshohocken, 25 mile , Bridgeport, 35 miles, Valley Forge, 45 miles, and Phoenixville, 55 miles! Do everyone and the leader will treat you to a beverage at the Steel City Cafe ! This week's progressive D ride is to Bridgeport. Cue sheets will not be available. Start and finish on the Chester Valley Trail with Chester County hills in the middle. 2 H2O stops and a moderate pace with regrouping. Cue sheets will be available.

    Level B: 14.5-15.5mph, 50 - 70 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 9:05 am. Consider this the next step up from the Toss of the DIce "C+", further (50 - 70 miles) and with more hills (3000 - 5000). The average speed (measured at end of ride) is likely to be 14.5 - 15.5 mph, it is the hills that push this into the B category. We will regroup as needed, but riders are expected to ride group pace. Bring food or money for snack along the way, as well as a spare tube. Check daily listing for route information. Ride may be cancelled up to 1 hour prior to departure time. Cue sheets will not be available.

    Level B-: 14mph, 30-50 miles. Start location to be determined. The ride leaves at 9:15 am. Bring your 29er, CX, Gravel or equip your road bike with wider tires as we mashup rides across various asphalt, gravel and sometimes dirt terrains. Expect a good challenge as we grind gravel trails and hit a few climbs with great company for no other purpose than to have fun and put in a few unpaved miles.

    Level D: 9-12mph, 12-24 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 12:00 pm. OWLS (Older, Wiser, Longer, Slower) paced ride for any age through Fairmount Park and beyond. Please bring helmet(required by club rules), water, $ for mid ride snack, and extra-tube. Please dress appropriately for the weather. The ride distance will be determined by the assembled group. There might be a hill or two to improve biking strength. We will regroup at the top of any hills to catch up on breathing. Some instructional biking info will be available on most rides.

    Level Tandem: 11.5-16mph, 24 miles. Meet at Schuylkill River Trail Oaks. The tandem ride leaves at 1:00 pm. Ride on the SRT from Oaks to Conshocken. We will stop off at the Conshohocken Brewery before we ride back. Tandem and single bikes are welcome. Pace will be slow - 10-12 mph. No one will be dropped. Cue sheets will not be available.

    Mon April 29, 2019 - Church of the Saviour Multi-Level Rides

    Levels A through D: 10-20mph, 10-40 miles. Meet at Church of the Saviour, Wayne, PA. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Come ride with the largest evening cycling group in the Delaware Valley ( over 100 riders). We have 7 different ride groups ranging from our slowest paced "Hybrid Bike" group up to our "A" group. All rides start 6pm sharp and finish at sunset ( the Hybrid group finishes at 7:30). We also have post-ride socials at the Great American Pub in Wayne as well as two "tailgate" nights in the COS lot. We have experienced ride leaders and sweep riders so no one gets lost! We do not ride on holidays that fall on a Monday ( Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc.). Rain cancels the ride but look at Meetup for last minute updates when weather is questionable. Cue sheets will be available.

    Levels A-/B+: 16.5-17.5mph, B: 15-16mph, C+: 13-14mph, 45 miles. Meet at Central Park, Doylestown. The ride leaves at 10:00 am. Bring yer bike & sense of adventure. Some days we'll ride familiar favorite routes, other days we'll scope out new routes. Today we'll ride to C'est la Vie French Bread Bakery (mile 23) in New Hope. Very pretty ride with lots and lots of country roads. Rolling hills with relatively mild first elevation gain heading to New Hope, followed by the majority of elevation gain on the return - nothing steep, but a number of longer gradual climbs. Will regroup as needed, but must be able to maintain the posted pace. Must be willing to ride safely & obey traffic laws.Check day of the ride if weather is iffy (rain cancels).
