Check out our Banquet location, the popular Manayunk Brewery, the loft of a historic wool and cotton mill. The evening will begin with a cocktail/hors d'oeuvres hour from 6-7 [cash bar], followed by dinner at 7, then awards and election of our Board of Directors. We anticipate an evening of camaraderie and great food, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian selections, unique surroundings, warmed by music. You get all of this for just $30/person. If you have cross-country skis, and/or snow shoes, meet us at Bruno's on Northwestern Ave., since Northwestern Ave. will most likely be plowed & salted. We will ski and/or snow shoe south on Forbidden Drive, then reverse & return to Northwestern. Distance to be determined by the group's comfort level -- depth of snow and grooming conditions on Forbidden Drive are key factors. Optional lunch stop at Bruno's afterward. Please note: Meeting time delayed by two hours (11:30), to give participants extra time to shovel their driveways & to drive as slowly as road conditions require.

Level All classes of snow lovers Fort Washington State Park, bird-watching deck & overlook, near Militia Hill entrance. The ride leaves at 10:00 am.
Leader: Linda McGrane, , 267-251-7862If you'd like to enjoy the fun side of snow storms, let's do some cross-country skiing (&/or snow shoeing, if you've got those, instead), while we still have plenty of snow. There is a parking lot across from the meeting point (bird-watching deck). Map of the state park is available at www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/fortwashington/fortwashington_mini.pdf. If coming from Stenton Ave, turn north on Joshua Rd. Before the steep uphill on Joshua, turn right into the park at the entrance for Militia Hill picnic area, then bear left on the park driveway toward the bird-watching area. If approaching from Skippack Pike/PA-73, turn south onto Militia Hill Rd (3-way intersection), then quick left into the park. Follow this park road up a long, gradual climb. Hope to enjoy your company on Saturday!

Winter Wimps lll (Wimps l, Redux) Hike or Bike
Level C-/C+, 11/13 mph, ~35 miles. Manhattan Bagel in the Chesterbrook Shopping Center . The ride leaves at 10:00 am.

Bring bike and hiking gear. We get some outdoor exercise either way. Route goes through King of Prussia and Upper Merion, crosses the Schuylkill River and continues up the Cross County Trail (paved) to stop for refueling and warming at IKEA. After a tasty interlude (Swedish meatballs?) we remount and spin under Ridge Pike, across the end of the Metroplex shopping center, to the Schuylkill River Trail. At Betzwood we cross the river on the boardwalk and then wind our back to Chesterbrook. Expect a few hills. No one dropped. Cue sheets provided. Bring a lock, snack, beverage & $. A multi-club ride.
