Level B-, 14-15 mph, 49 miles. SEPTA parking lot in Conshohocken, next to the Outbound Station (on Harry St, between Elm St. & Schuylkill River Trail), near Matsonford Bridge . The ride leaves at 9:00 am. Cue sheets will be available.
Leader: Linda McGrane, , 267-251-7862Scenic ride from Conshohocken to the Kimberton Whole Foods market in Chester County. The route is a classic Jeff Bakely cue sheet. Terrain is rolling with some brisk hills, but we will stop to regroup as needed. Enjoy some picturesque roads surrounding Valley Forge, near French and Pickering Creeks. Kimberton Whole Foods stop is at the midway point. On the return, we can stop at the convenience store in Audubon/Trooper, if needed. Please contact the Leader if weather is questionable.

D riders, you can do the distance - it just occupies your whole day! You will do it!
Odell Warm Up Ride (ad-hoc ride)
Level B to B-, 13-14 mph, 45 +/- miles. Meet at Italian Fountain behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 8:30 am. Cue sheets will be available.

This ride will be over familiar roads of the main lline, heading through Conshy and into Chestnut Hill and Mt Airy before heading back to the MLK drive. Will be using the Five Hills cue sheet. Ride will average about 13-14 mph. Let's meet a few minutes before 8:30 at the Italian Fountain for a prompt 8:30 am departure. No rest stops are scheduled, although if we need to stop of a bathroom break...we will do so.
Scenic Lebanon County
Level B-, 14-16 mph, 68-70 miles. South Hills Park on Lincoln Ave, South Lebanon Township. The ride leaves at 9:00 am.

Lebanon County is filled with peaceful landscapes. Route will include 2-3 rest stops, and cue sheets will be provided. The route begins at South Hills Park on Lincoln Ave in South Lebanon Township: take the main PA Turnpike (I-276/I-76)westbound to the Lebanon/Lancaster Interchange (PA Route 72). Exit onto 72 North for 4-5 miles to Rocherty Rd. Turn right at Rocherty (Sheetz station on the corner). Stay on Rocherty for ~ one mile to Lincoln Ave. Turn left onto Lincoln, and follow Lincoln to South Hills Park. Parking lot is on the right, just past the Lebanon VA Hospital. Please plan on at least 75 mins driving time to Lebanon. Please contact the Leader if you would like to car-pool together from from Phila. area.
Saturday C+ Ride
Level C+, 13-14 mph, 40-50 miles. Meet at Italian Fountain behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 9:15 am.

Wednesday 'Light-Up-The-Night' Dinner Ride (ad-hoc ride)
Level B-, 15-17 mph, 56 miles. Behind Art Museum, Azalea Garden. The ride leaves at 3:00 pm.

Meet at Azalea Garden, behind the Art Museum in Philly for a 3:00 pm departure. The ride out will be made in daylight, and about half of the ride back will be made IN THE DARK - though we will be mainly on the Schuylkill River Trail bike path. Given the night riding, YOU MUST HAVE A HEAD LIGHT AND TAIL LIGHT!!! Additional helpful items: spare pair of CLEAR GLASSES to keep the bugs out of your eyes while riding along the river at night (a huge help!). We ride out, 28 miles, but it's pretty flat and effortless on the bike trail. Four-Day Bicycle Camping Tour to Washington, DC
Level C, 12 mph, 65-50-50-50 miles. the Rocky statue in front of the Philadelphia Art Museum. The ride leaves at 8:00 am. Cue sheets will not be available.
Leader: Tim Carey, , 267-414-9037This will be the culminating bike camping touring trips for this cycling season. We used to do this tour at Easter Time but instead of camping there where Youth Hostels to sleep over. The first night will be close to Bowmensville, PA, second night close to Gettysburg, PA, the third night close to Harper's Ferry, WV then taking the C&O Canal Path into Washington, DC. We will take the train back to Philly Monday evening. Lots of hills, but last day flat. We will be carrying all that we need on the bikes, no sag, getting food along the way, either for cooking over the camp stove or eating out, when needed or desired. All costs shared. Train fare plus $10 bike handling fee which includes an over sized bike box. May need to pick up the bike the next day at 30th Street Station.

Tyler Park and Dark Hollow

The beginning and end are the same (minimizing traffic and climbing), but the middle is completely different. We will be in Tyler Park for about 4 miles. Overall climbing profile is very moderate -- 37 feet/mile (not zero, but not evil). We will regroup as needed (traffic lights, hilltops, etc.).
Northbrook Orchards Market (ad-hoc ride)
Level B/C+, 13.5 mph, 55 miles. Ridley Creek State Park, at the park office parking lot. The ride leaves at 9:00 am. Cue sheets will be available.

As well as southwestern Delco, and even a small portion of the state of Delaware. I will try to keep the pace at a moderate level. - Want to save our legs for PASA. One quick rest break in Chadds Ford (mile 20). A sit down lunch stop at Northbrook - mile 28 (hopefully outdoor). And an optional third stop, at a Wawa (mile 45), are planned.
