Ride level is B/B-: 15-16mph, 43mi with 3400ft. Meet at 8:45AM for 9AM start. It's a B ride b/c of the short and steep nature of the climbing. If you don't have the legs for whatever reason, some climbs can be bypassed allowing you to regroup with us. This is my variation of the Dirty Dozen ride which is up and down the hills around the western burbs of Philly so Conshy, Manayunk, Gladwyne. Learn how to climb and get stronger as we ride them at mortal speeds. There are 6 big hills such as Harts Ln, Hagys Mill, Mary Waters, Rose Glen, etc...totaling around 3400ft. There is 1 quick water/food break at 30mi but ideally bring 2 pieces of food like energy bars for 2 quick food breaks each hour. Ideally, we should finish in 3hrs so plan accordingly. Route and cue sheet downloadable below

    Leader: Simon Knight, , 215-219-9555

Consider this the next step up from the Toss of the DIce "C+", further (50 - 70 miles) and with more hills (3000 - 5000). The average speed (measured at end of ride) is likely to be 14.5 - 15.5 mph, it is the hills that push this into the B category. We will regroup as needed, but riders are expected to ride group pace. Bring food or money for snack along the way, as well as a spare tube. Check daily listing for route information. Ride may be cancelled up to 1 hour prior to departure time.

Consider this the next step up from the Toss of the DIce "C+", further (50 - 70 miles) and with more hills (3000 - 5000). The average speed (measured at end of ride) is likely to be 14.5 - 15.5 mph, it is the hills that push this into the B category. This week we'll head to Ridley Creek State Park. Lunch stop at Dunkin Donuts in Glen Mills and optional after-ride drinks at the Cosmic Cafe, Boathouse Row. Total climbing ~ 4.,300 ft. We will regroup as needed, but riders are expected to ride group pace. Bring money for food and a spare tube. Check daily listing for route information. Ride may be cancelled up to 1 hour prior to departure time.
