So like last year, we are doing her ride at the end of some mouth. Like last year we will celebrate a lunch at Devon Yards. But truth be told there were more than five hills but less than 58 miles. Just so you know the first hill is up Matson Ford Rd out of West Conshohocken! If KYW is reporting rain or the predicted high less than 50 degrees, ride cancels.

It is the largest group ride in the region with up to 75 riders participating from April through October each year. Our riders have varying ability levels ranging from beginner (“D” level) riders on hybrid bikes that average 9-12 mph through semi-professional (“A” level) riding at 22-25 mph. As a result, we break into groups that are about 7-10 riders although these groups may be as large as 20 riders at times.

Wyck House is a National Historic Landmark house, garden, and farm that served as the ancestral home to one Philadelphia family for nine generations (1690-1973). See website: Wyck.org. Their rose garden is in full bloom and it should be beautiful! We will also stop briefly at Awbry Arboretum since it's in the same neighborhood. We'll take MLK to East Falls Bridge to the top of Midvale Ave to Wissahickon Ave to Chelten ham and then to Awbry for our first stop. I have a call in to Wyck to see if we can bring our lunch and eat there. Will keep you posted!
