We will meet 8:45 am at 9th and Locust Sts, PATCO Highspeed station to avoid carrying our bicycle down the three flights of stairs on the Ben Franklin Bridge. The route basically parallels the White Horse Pike using back roads. If you want to know the route to Atlantic City, come along! In order to facilitate the time needed for us OWLS riders, Older, Weiser, Longer, Slower to achieve Mary Jo's goal, we will not dillidali, we will pack a lunch, pb&j sandwiches are good. We will stop for coffee and water in Haddon Heights, NJ, Hammonton, NJ and a WAWA in Egg Harbor Township. We will catch the 6:54 pm train, arriving back to 30th Street Amtrak Station by 8:34 pm. Bring lights for your end ride from 30th Street. In the past, we have gotten hoagies to take away from White House Subs, and getting drinks at the Atlantic City train station to either eat while waiting for the train to depart or decreately eat on the train. I must emphasize, if KYW is reporting rain outside their studio one hour prior to start, the ride cancels! In the event of rain while cycling, there are many bailout points. Remember this is a HAPPY birthday ride not a cummungin ride.
