EARLY MORNING RIDE TODAY, DUE TO EXCESSIVE HEAT IN THE AFTERNOON. This is a pretty loop from the Whole Foods Market in Jenkintown to the Whole Foods in Plymouth Meeting. Outbound via Abington, Oreland, and Blue Bell. Indoor rest stop at the Whole Foods in Plymouth Meeting at the half-way mark (mile 20). Return via Spring Mill, Flourtown, and Glenside. At the rest stop in Plymouth Meeting (mid-way), there is an indoor dining area, so, we can take advantage of the air conditioning. On the return, if another water stop is needed, there is an option to stop at Wawa at mile 29 or mile 32. Total elevation gain is 1875 ft, per RidewithGPS.com. Mostly rolling terrain - tallest climb is 380 ft. Meeting point at Whole Foods Market: park at far end of lot, near the Rydal Park senior apts.
