Level ALL CLASSES, 30 miles. Valley Forge Park Visitor Center, lower parking lot. The ride leaves at 9:30 am. For 12 years, we've been looking for the Leprechaun's pot of gold. We have never found it. But we have always had a fun ride on good biking roads. Again, this year, we stop for a late breakfast at the Phoenixville Polish American Club near the end of the ride. Can we get an Irish breakfast at a Polish American club? If you joined us in past years, you know the answer. "Szczesliwego Dnia Sw. Patryka!" This year's ride is dedicated to Arnie on his 80th birthday. Join us for the celebration. A multi-club ride. Bring $ & H2O. Wear something green (teeth don't count) and we'll buy you a cup of coffee. We'll then hop on a train with our bikes (The Camden "River Line" train) and re-cross the Delaware River into Philly via the Ben Franklin Bridge. Rain or starting temp. cancels ride. Level C, 12 mph, 30 miles. first parking lot after crossing the covered bridge, on Yellow Springs Road, in Valley Forge National Historic Park. The ride leaves at 9:00 am. If you care about clean roads to ride on, put this on your "to do" list. And, bring a friend. Please dedicate an hour to help us clean up a section of Yellow Springs Rd. We supply gloves and bags. All you have to do is show up and do a little walking and picking. Bring your bike and biking gear. We will ride to Kimberton Whole Foods Cafe afterward. If you help with the clean-up you could win some cash. We will deal poker hands to the clean-up crew, during the ride (at stops, of course). Top three hands win $15,$10 & $5, respectively.
