Sun November 27, 2016 - Hike the Wissahickon
Hike Hike, 2-3 mph, 6-8 miles. Meet at Bruno's, Northwestern and Germantown Aves. The hike leaves at 9:30 am. Enjoy the fall with a hike among the hills in the Wissahickon. Leaves promptly @ 9:30. There will be several climbs that will get the heart pumping. Appropriate, supportive foot wear is recommended. Hiking poles are also worth considering - not required, but poles do help you on the climbs. Well-behaved canines are welcome (sometimes preferred over owners). We will try to take it easy on those that are new to our hiking group. A flat option is available for the return. A bathroom break will be at midpoint. After the hike, we can have lunch at Bruno's, or at another nearby eatery. A pre-registration link is provided for this hike. Pre-registration is not required, but it will save you (and others) writing time on Sunday morning - your name & contact info will already be printed on the waiver form, so that all you need to add is your signature. Cue sheets will not be available.

You need to be able to navigate your way back to the start if you are not doing the longer ride. 50% or greater chance of rain cancels the ride. Cue sheets will be available.
