Level D: 9-12mph, 12-24 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum.. The ride leaves at 12:00 pm. Casual Ride through Fairmount Park and beyond for those who are new to group riding, returning after a layoff from riding, or not wanting to race through the streets of Philadelphia. Please wear helmet(required by the club.). Please bring extra tube and tools to fix a flat, proper dress for the weather, water, and $ for mid-ride snack stop.

Well since Jim is doing a Friday ride, and I most likely can't ride on Friday, I decided to post a ride for Tuesday just to get out there. Quick ride to Narberth, most likely going up past Gen. Grant and then doing the Easter Seals route. Stop at GET or the greek place around the corner for lunch and then figure out a way home. No route cause, I don't have it yet! Note later start time-- figure it wouldn't hurt for it to warm up a bit! and means that we can do lunchy things in Narberth Cue sheets will not be available.

For December 6: Easy, flat trail ride along the Pennypack Creek Trail and the Newtown Rail Trail. Leader will be riding a recumbent trike, due to rehab-in-progress on right wrist surgery. Porta-potties along the trail, as well as the outdoor All-Aboard Cafe next to the trail at Bryn Athyn. Straight, out & back route on the same trail, in both directions. GENERIC DESCRIPTION: Enjoy scenic adventures by bike on most Fridays, throughout the year. Explore pretty, peaceful roads in suburban counties -- Montgomery, Bucks, etc. Starting points vary, so that we can explore different regions. Level C: 12mph, ~20 miles. Meet at Newtown Rail Trail parking lot in Southampton, 499 Second Street Pike at Knowles Ave, next to Strathman Home Center. The ride leaves at 9:45 am. For December 20: Easy, flat trail ride along the Pennypack Creek Trail and the Newtown Rail Trail. Leader will be riding a recumbent trike, due to rehab-in-progress on right wrist surgery. Porta-potties along the trail, as well as the outdoor All-Aboard Cafe next to the trail at Bryn Athyn. Straight, out & back route on the same trail, in both directions. GENERIC DESCRIPTION: Enjoy scenic adventures by bike on most Fridays, throughout the year. Causual Paced Ride through Fairmount Park and beyond for those new to group riding, or returning after a layoff from biking, or just wanting a nice ride without racing through the streets of Philadelphia. Please wear helmet(required by the club.). Please bring extra-tube and tools to fix a flat, proper dress for cold weather(layers of warm clothes,) water, and $ for mid ride warm-up snack stop. There might be a hill or two to help get us warm and for physical conditioning. If it is exceptionally cold, the ride will be short. We will cycle up to Bristol, PA. We will celebrate inside, in the Bristol Amish Market. We will try and discover an alternate route back to Philadelphia than the route on the way up. When we get back, we will check the distance in Kilometers and add more km to round out to 80. If KYW is reporting rain, snow or icy road conditions, ride cancels.
