Wed October 27, 2021 - Ride Yer Bike Tuesday on Wednesday (ad-hoc ride)

Levels A-/B+: 16-17mph, B-: 13.5-14.5mph, C+: 12-13mph, 43 miles. Meet at Central Park, Doylestown. The ride leaves at 10:00 am. Bring yer bike & sense of adventure. Sometimes we'll ride familiar routes, sometimes new ones. Today we'll be riding to Brig O'Doons in Ottsville for a rest stop (mile 21) and then onto Tabora's for our lunch stop (mile 34.5). Expect good company on safe/low trafficked roads and a very scenic route. There will be hills, but nothing particularly steep. Will regroup as needed, but must be able to maintain the posted pace. Must be willing to ride safely, obey traffic laws and follow: https://phillybikeclub.org/bcp_covid_19_rider_guidelines.pdf. Check day of the ride if weather is iffy - rain cancels, but will likely reschedule for Wed. NOTE: November is ad hoc: The day of the week, start location and start time will be based on the weather and determined weekly. Cue sheets will not be available. Thu October 28, 2021 - Thursday Morning Hill Ride: Short Route

Level D: 10mph, 23 miles. Meet at Cosmic Cafe, Lloyd Hall, # 1 Boathouse Row, Kelly Dr, East Fairmount Park . The ride leaves at 10:00 am. The bottom of Mill Creek Road at Flat Rock Park is blocked by what appears to be a 4-foot high beaver dam. And the bridge is being repaired on the hill leading up to the Ardmore Farmer's Market. So, we are somewhat limited in our routes. I will alternate this easier ride with a variety of more difficult rides. This week, we'll descend to Mill Creek Park and climb back up Conshohocken State Road for lunch at the Landing Kitchen. If there is inclement weather I will cancel the ride by 9 AM. If the ride is not canceled it's going. Cue sheets will not be available.
