Ride the Wissahickon. This ride is suitable for mountain bikes, hybrids, comfort bikes, and other bikes with wide tires, although I did it last year, and previewed the ride this week, on my street bike with no difficulty. There's gravel and some bumpy parts but it is do-able if there is no rain. We'll be on both Forbidden Drive and part of the Wissahickon Trail then go up into German-town and Mount Airy, returning on Forbidden Drive to ride .9 mile past our start point to the BCP BBQ for excellent food and even better conversation.
