Every Saturday thru March for a ride from Valley Forge to Kimberton. Indoor coffee break at the Kimberton Wholefoods in Kimberton. Plan is to be back in VF by noon.

Multi-level ride.Co-leaders for alternate paces welcome. Q sheets provided. I'll lead at a 13-14 mph B- pace.We'll visit the Bryn Athyn Cathedral (take a few pictures), then head for a warm-up, sit down lunch (optional) in Jenkintown at the bagel/sandwich deli store (many other food options - your choice). One or two big climbs on this ride but relatively flat to rolling sections most of the way.Rain or starting temp. below 40F cancels ride.

We will ride at a steady pace (as much as we all can manage with lack of riding and extra pounds). Destinations will be either Conshohocken or Plymouth Square. We will stop for coffee so bring a lock.

Join BCP members (other friends welcome) for an evening of fun, food and socializing on Saturday, March 6th from 6:00 to 10:00 pm at Dave & Busters. Dave & Busters is a huge restaurant and activity center. BCP will have a room of its own with a waitress and private pool table. Let's begin to work our way back into shape with an easy paced ride C/C+ ride. Terrain is rolling with a few climbs. Food stop at WAWA or a restaurant depending on the group's choice. We'll hike the trails of the beautiful Wissahickon gorge, plus a mile or two or three through historic Chestnut Hill. Responsible hikers with any number of legs welcome. Join us following the hike for a season ending get together at Howard's house (1/2 block from train station). Email or call Howard if you need directions, or would like to bring something (completely optional).

Route out through Chestnut Hill with 25 minute coffee/rest stop at WAWA on Bethlehem Pike. Route back through Manyunk. Based on present weather forecast, should cross 50 degrees during the ride back. Many rides today. This one will begin at 10:30 SHARP!

Sit down lunch (optional) at the Genuardi's Market in Eagleville at mile 17. This ride heads out over familar rolling roads through Blue Bell with only one big climb (Bean Rd.) on the way out. We'll head back via Norristown Park and Blue Bell via relatively flat roads. Rain or starting temp. below 35F cancels ride.

4+ hours of fun. Old member or new, take this midwinter opportunity to celebrate the past year of riding and to kick off the 2010 season, while honoring our friends who volunteer to make our club so successful. Check out our Banquet location, the popular Manayunk Brewery, the loft of a historic wool and cotton mill. The evening will begin with a cocktail/hors d'oeuvres hour from 6-7 [cash bar], followed by dinner at 7, then awards and election of our Board of Directors. For 12 years, we've been looking for the Leprechaun's pot of gold. We have never found it. But we have always had a fun ride on good biking roads. Again, this year, we stop for a late breakfast at the Phoenixville Polish American Club near the end of the ride. Can we get an Irish breakfast at a Polish American club? If you joined us in past years, you know the answer. "Szczesliwego Dnia Sw. Patryka!" This year's ride is dedicated to Arnie on his 80th birthday. Join us for the celebration. A multi-club ride. Bring $ & H2O. Wear something green (teeth don't count) and we'll buy you a cup of coffee. Directions to the start: U.S. 422 to the Valley Forge Rd (PA 23 W) exit. Go 0.1 mi to the main entrance to VFNHP at the traffic light. Follow the entrance road to the right, around the Visitor Center to the lower parking lot. There is plenty of time for questions and answers and no one will be left behind. You must wear a helmet and bring something to eat and drink. Bring an extra tube for your tire. Optional 3 miles on the Schuylkill River Trail, coffee, etc. after the ride.

A ride for Brompton Folder bike owners. Optional meet at 9 a.m. for coffee/group photo, leaves 9:30 sharp, follows bike path to Memorial Hall for Brompton US Championship. (a race for Bromptons only that requires jacket and tie. Returns after races.... approx. 3 p.m. RSVP . Foul weather may cancel. Cell 215.990.9275.

We'll cross the Delaware River en route to Riverton,NJ and wonderful Zena's Restuarant where we'll have a sit-down lunch (optional). We'll then hop on a train with our bikes (The Camden "River Line" train) and re-cross the Delaware River into Philly via the Ben Franklin Bridge. Rain or starting temp. cancels ride. Option to ride 10 extra miles instead of taking the train.

Early season C+ opener. We will keep a steady effort and pace. This ride will not stop for a break. Wet roads at 9.30 a.m. or forecast of 50 percent or greater precip between 10.30 and 12.30 cancels ride.

If you care about clean roads to ride on, put this on your "to do" list. And, bring a friend. Please dedicate an hour to help us clean up a section of Yellow Springs Rd. We supply gloves and bags. All you have to do is show up and do a little walking and picking. Bring your bike and biking gear. We will ride to Kimberton Whole Foods Cafe afterward. If you help with the clean-up you could win some cash. We will deal poker hands to the clean-up crew, during the ride (at stops, of course). Top three hands win $15,$10 & $5, respectively. I have to know who is coming. So, call or e-mail me by Saturday afternoon, if you want to join us.

Meet your ride buddies after the long winter lay-off. We'll ride to some of the most scenic areas of Chester County. Relatively hilly ride with a few long climbs. We'll attempt to have ride leaders for category C/C+; B-/B; and B+/A (ride leaders needed for all paces). Short food stop at WAWA in Wayne, and lunch stop at either WAWA in Wayne or an optional sit-down lunch at Minella's diner in Wayne. Q sheets provided for all distances. The return of the much loved, IKEA to Phoenixville Ride. Meet at IKEA Conshohocken near Ridge Pike and Alan Wood Road; Get your wheels tuned, and butts in shape. Bring water, tube, tools, and be sure everything is tight, pumped and ready to roll...including you. Giddyup!

By way of Evansburg State Park and Skippack Creek we'll then head down to the Perkiomen Creek to hop on the Oaks trails and head towards Valley Forge.
