13th Annual Leprechaun Breakfast and Road Clean-up
Level All, 11/13 mph, ~20 miles. the first parking lot West of the Knox Covered Bridge(c. 1865) on Yellow Springs rd, at PA252, in Valley Forge Park. There is a PENNDOT Adopt-A-Hiway sign at the entrance to the lot. The ride leaves at 9:00 am.

Center City to and thru the Pennypack on the trail
Level D, 10 mph, 40 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 9:00 am.
Leader: Tim Carey, , 267-414-9037Ride across town to Old Kings Highway, heading up to the Northeast to Pennypack water front park so we can start the ride on the Pennypack Park bike path from its beginning. We will cycle the entire length almost to the city edge at Pine Rd. From there follow the Septa Fox Chase line back thru Tookany Creek Park, Roosevelt Blvd., Hunting Park Av back to Kelly Dr. and our start. Hills will be on the bike trails. This will be a good learning experience cycling on this style of dedicated bike path.

Leader: Tim Carey, , 267-414-9037Let's do this again because I want to keep upping the miles for D riders each month so that in April we will go to the Bettswood section of Valley Forge Park, 45 miles, then to Pheonixville in May, 55 miles, and early June to Collegeville, 65 miles, all flat as a pancake! The Manayunk Canal Tow Path portion of the Schuylkilll River Trail has been upgraded so lets check it out and continue on toward Conshohocken where we will cross the river, cycling up the West side to Bridgeport, PA where there is a great donut shoppe! (sadly the Out Bound Station has closed along the SRT at Conshohocken)

Leader: Tim Carey, , 267-414-9037Let's try this again since it was canceled due to snow/ice on the roads in January. Heading out the Mainline to Darby-Paoli Rd, to Church Rd, to Sugartown Rd. Our destination is the Paoli Memorial Park in Malvern where there is a revolutionary war memorial. Won't stop there long because of the distance needed to cover this day. Lunch will be down the hill at US 1 and ST 29 where I have been told is a very good store to buy food. Return route will be what I call the upper route - Swedesford Rd and Valley Forge Park. We can check out if any progress on the Chester Valley Trail which will run from King of Prussia - paralleling 202 all the way to Exton and hopefully to Downingtown - Coatesville, parts of which are open! We will ease on down the Schuylkill River Trail back to Philly. Rain / snow one hour before start cancels the ride.

Early Spring (but feels like Winter) hike in the Wissahickon

We'll start by hiking through Andorra Natural Area on the Roxborough side, a place not often visited on our hikes, and work our way over to the Chestnut Hill side. Those seeking a flatter alternative for part of the hike can use Forbidden Drive. Friendly 2-legged and 4-legged companions welcome. Optional post-hike lunch at the dog-friendly Cedars House. Steady rain cancels.
Substitute ride to Kimberton (ad-hoc ride)
Level B+, 48 miles. Betzwood picnic area. The ride leaves at 9:00 am.
