Italian Fountain Century Ride
Level A,B,C,D,F, 100 miles. Meet at Italian Fountain behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 8:00 am.

Come celebrate this historic fountain's history by cycling 1,000 times around the outer edge of the circle. Cars will be banded for parking all day so the century course will not be impeded. There will be official century ride marshals for the official count of the revolutions. There will be not sweep. The sag and mechanical help will be at the formal entrance of the Azalea Garden. The official food during the ride will be bagels to keep in the tradition of the oval ride and pizza will be served after the ride to anyone who shows up. The route will not be marked due to Fairmont Park restrictions. The water stop will be the fountain itself. For the first time since it was turned off, it will be turned on for this special commemorative century ride

Betzwood to Pottstown (and back)
Level B, 14 mph, 46 miles. Betzwood picnic area, by the rest rooms. The ride leaves at 9:00 am.

Egg Harbor Express to Renault Winery - Bike / Train Ride - Limited # of Riders- Call to Confirm
Level B- / B, 14-17 mph, 65 miles. Lloyd Hall, intersection of Kelly Drive and Waterworks Drive, Philadelphia, PA. . The ride leaves at 9:00 am.

You must call me at 215-233-2578 if you want to do this ride. We'll meet 9:00am in front of Lloyd Hall at the intersection of Kelly Drive and Waterworks Drive where the "Boat Houses" end.We'll leave 9:15 sharp. We'll cycle over the Ben Franklin bridge enroute to Egg Harbor,NJ where we'll have a sit down lunch at the Renault Winery at mile 62 with a winery tour and wine tasting after lunch.We'll take a short 20 minute "WAWA" rest/food stop at @ mile 30 or 40 since we won't be eating a full lunch until mile 62. It's only 3 miles to the Egg Harbor train station after the wine tasting. We'll then take the train from Egg Harbor back to 30th St. Station in Philly (cost = $9.50 for the 75 minute one-way train ride) .This is an all-day "adventure" ride and won't return to Philly until @ 6:00 pm.Chance of rain or temp "highs" less than 45F cancels the ride.

The cherrry blossoms may be in bloom by now, and we'll likely encounter some colorful murals, also. Ride will begin with a brief safety instruction & equipment check. Long but steady all along the Valley Forge, Schuylkill River Bicycle Trail, crossing the river into the park for a ride around. We will stop along the way at the Out Bound Train Depot in Conshohocken for a coffee/latte and pastry, with a picnic lunch in the park with PB&J sandwiches are encouraged to keep your expenses down. Return by the same route. It is 22 miles to the park with about 6 miles loop in the park and 22 miles back. D riders, you can do the distance - it just occupies your whole day! You will do it!

Perkiomenville/Green Lane Park Two Day Bicycle Camping Trip
Level C, 12 mph, 55 each day miles. Eakins Oval, at the first tree on the northeast city-side. The ride leaves at 8:00 am.
Leader: Tim Carey, , 267-414-9037This first of a serise of bike camping trips each month is to Green Lane Reservoir Park at the end of the Perkioman Trail. Starting from Eakins Oval, out M L King Dr., we will pick up the Manayunk Canal Tow Path, taking the Schuylkill River Trail and break onto the Perkiomen Trail above Valley Forge for the remainder of the ride to Green Lane Park. Approximately 55 miles of fully loaded bicycle touring with tent, sleeping bag, ground pad, cooking gear and appropriate clothing for the two day adventure and no SAG. Purchase food for dinner and breakfast before or after setting up camp. PB&J sandwiches, fruit, granola bars and water for lunches. Bike trails all the way, 50% on packed gravel, gradual up hill = down hill with one 12% hill on the way back. Sign up with leader by Monday, April 11th. Appox shared cost $30. Rain or Shine.
