86th Anniversary Commemorative Century Ride minus two years. Come celebrate this historic fountain's history by cycling 1,000 times around the outer edge of the circle. Cars will be banded from the route all day so the century course will not be impeded. There will be one official century ride marshal for the official count of the revolutions. There will be not sweep. The sag and mechanical help will be at the formal entrance of the Azalea Garden. The official food during the ride will be bagels to keep in the tradition of the oval ride and pizza will be served after the ride in the Italian tradition to anyone who shows up. The route will not be marked due to Fairmont Park restrictions. The water stop will be the fountain itself. For the first time since it was turned off, it will be turned on for this special commemorative century ride. This is entirely new route from last year's clockwise route! The entrance fee is one cent for every revolution of the official course. All fees collected will be donated to the Philadelphia Fountain Society for restoration of the Italian Fountain in perpetuity.
