Phoenixville Dog Ride, B-/C+, 13.5-14.5
Level C+: 13.5mph, 20-35 miles. Meet at Reynolds Dog Park, Longford Rd, Oaks, PA. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm.
Leader: Rick Christie, , 610-787-1985The daylight Phoenixville dog rides begin in May and continue through September. Rolling to hilly rides on low-traffic roads. Regroup as necessary. No one dropped, but please be prepared to ride the posted speed on rolling to hilly terrain. On the last Wednesday of each month, we will have a day/night ride. We start riding in the daylight and continue after sunset with headlights and taillights. A strong headlight and taillight are required. On the last Wednesday in June, we will ride a metric century.
Weekly Flourtown A- Ride
Level A-: 18-20mph, 25-45 miles. Meet at Flourtown Shopping Center. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Cue sheets will not be available.

Meet in same parking lot as the "Multi-Level Conshohocken Rides". Start by riding on the Schuylkill River Trail, and/or, the Cross County Trail, which connects the Schuylkill with Plymouth Meeting . As riders get stronger, we can turn off the trails and explore some pretty roads in the area. Please bring lights in case we return close to dark.

Levels B: 14-16mph, C+: 13-14mph, 20-30+ miles. Meet at Jacobs Engineering Parking Lot. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Cue sheets will not be available.

GENERIC DESCRIPTION: Scenic adventures by bike on most Fridays, throughout the year. Explore pretty, peaceful roads in suburban counties -- Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, etc. Starting points will vary, so that we can cycle through different regions. Please check the daily calendar for details of each Friday's route -- terrain, mileage, rest stops, etc. If weather conditions are not conducive to cycling, this ride may be replaced by a hike/walk (on foot). As long as we are enjoying outdoor physical exercise, and Mother Nature, in the company of friends, we'll have a memorable outing.

Dunkin' Donuts at Mile 18, farmer's market/orchard stops at mile 26 & 48, & 69. Driving Directions from Palmyra, NJ (Tacony-Palmyra Bridge): NJ-73 East > US-130 North > Right onto Creek Rd > Left onto Marne Highway > Cross over 295 & NJ Turnpike > Left onto Deacon Rd to the park. The 7 groups range from a slow D level "hybrid / road" group that rides no more than 15 miles at 8-11 mph pace up to our fastest pace "A" ride group that rides at 18-20 mph and anywhere between 20 and 50 miles depending on sunset times. Pretty and scenic route through the Brandywine Valley, on peaceful roads which are popular with the Delaware Valley and White Clay Bike Clubs. Venture through Ridley Creek State Park, circle around Hoopes Reservoir, cross the Brandywine Creek a couple of times, and pass the Tyler Arboretum. On the outbound, there is a quick Wawa break at mile 12. Lunch at the Centreville Cafe is at mile 32. On the return, there is a Wawa stop if needed at mile 40. Rolling hills with a couple of brisk climbs, but a couple of flat stretches along Creek Rd, also. Total elevation gain 3689 feet. Earlier start time today (9:00am) - need to be back before 3:00pm. GENERIC DESCRIPTION: scenic adventures by bike on most Fridays, throughout the year. Explore pretty, peaceful roads in suburban counties -- Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, etc. Starting points will vary, so that we can cycle through different regions. Pretty loop with rolling hills from Alexis DuPont High School in Greenville, DE (north Wilmington), near the Brandywine Creek, west to the picturesque Hoopes Reservoir, then, north into lovely & green Chester County. PA. Some of the Potomac Pedalers are visiting the Brandywine/Longwood Gardens area this weekend, so this route will showcase some scenic roads. Cycle on Creek Rd, past Chadds Ford and Pocopson. Food stop at Northbrook Marketplace at mile 21. On the return, we'll pass the borders of Longwood Gardens and Winterthur, and return to Greenville on peaceful, green roads. Total elevation gain is 1978 ft of climbing. Plan is to return by 12 Noon.

We'll ride from Ocean City to Mays Landing and Tuckahoe, then circle back to O.C. on quiet roads. Nice views of the river near Mays Landing. We have a Wawa stop in Mays Landing at mile 21, then a rest stop in Tuckahoe at mile 34. Terrain is FLAT (674 ft elevation for the whole route), although we may have some headwinds. Please bring sunblock with you. If you are driving to Ocean City on Friday morning for this ride, please allow at least 75 mins drive time, due to normal weekday commuter traffic. This week we will ride to Delaware via Swarthmore & return via Ridley Creek State Park. We will regroup as needed, but riders are expected to ride group pace. On the outbound, there are places to take a quick bathroom/snack break at mile 16. After lunch at Tabora's, we'll cycle around the perimeter of peaceful Lake Galena. On the return, there are optional Wawa stops if needed, at mile 38 (Colmar), or 44 (North Wales). GENERIC DESCRIPTION: Enjoy scenic adventures by bike on most Fridays, throughout the year. Explore pretty, peaceful roads in suburban counties -- Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, etc. Starting points will vary, so that we can explore different regions. Mostly rolling with a climb up Sourland Mtn. on the way out to Raritan. Flatter ride in valley on return back to Philly.

We will regroup as needed, but riders are expected to ride the listed group pace. (This the average speed that a bike computer shows at the end of a ride.) Bring a couple of water bottles, spare tube, and money for lunch.

Church of the Saviour Multi-Level Rides
Level A through D: 8-20mph, 13-45 miles. Meet at Church of the Saviour, Wayne, PA. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm.

The 7 groups range from a slow D level "hybrid / road" group that rides no more than 15 miles at 8-11 mph pace up to our fastest pace "A" ride group that rides at 18-20 mph and anywhere between 20 and 50 miles depending on sunset times. We start riding in the daylight and continue after sunset with headlights and taillights. A strong headlight and taillight are required. On the last Wednesday in June, we will ride a metric century.

Friday Afternoon Frolic - UDHS to Jamison and Doylestown
Level B-: 14mph, 45 miles. Meet at Upper Dublin High School. The ride leaves at 12:45 pm. Cue sheets will be available. The on-line route map is UDHS to Doylestown for Easter Sunday Morning.

Pretty loop from Upper Dublin High School to Doylestown, with two QUICK rest stops for snacks & bathroom. Along the way, we'll ride through Horsham and Warrington, Jamison, New Britain, and Springhouse. We'll cross the picturesque Neshaminy Creek on Dark Hollow Rd. Quick rest stops - Wawa at mile 17 in Jamison, and Weis Market in Doylestown at mile 28. Terrain is rolling - total climbing is 2236 ft - nothing severe. Plan is to return by 4:45-5:00pm. Optional Preregistration has been set up here for your convenience. Preregistration is not required, BUT, it DOES save you writing time at the starting point, and, it helps your Leader by ensuring that your contact info is printed legibly.
