The outbound portion will include the 202 Parkway Trail, and the return will include the Horsham Power Line trail. At mile 12, we can take a quick bathroom/snack break if needed at the Del Val College Market on Lower State Rd in Doylestown. The ice cream & lunch stop is at mile 28. There is an organic food market, a country store (sandwich shop/deli), and a pizzeria/Italian restaurant near the creamery in the same complex. On the return, at mile 38, we can stop at Wawa for water, etc. The middle portion of this route is particularly green and peaceful, and crosses two creeks (Jericho and Neshaminy). MEETING POINT: Parkside Place Park on Sumneytown Pike is across the street from the huge Merck building. Meet in the parking lot across from the public swimming pool. Spring Mill Saturday C
Level C: 12mph, 26 miles. Meet at SEPTA Spring Mill Station Parking Lot Off of E. Hector St. in Conshohocken. The ride leaves at 10:00 am. Cue sheets will not be available. The on-line route map is Easy Bean Rd loop.
Leader: Michael Fuller, , 610-551-8256Meet in the Spring Mill SEPTA parking lot on Hector St, opposite the late Riverbend Cycles. Bring enough H2O and snacks to last the entire ride. Make a potty stop before you arrive (McDonalds on Rt 23 in West Conshy). This route was designed for the Thursday evening rides, and no rest stop is built into the ride. It will be a true “C” ride with regrouping. We will be using the easiest hills we can find, but when you start at a river, pretty much any way is UP. “Preregistration Required” helps to keep procedures and paper handling to a minimum. The start time is a little later so people (like me) can ride to the start if they want. There will be no Q sheet. Organizing a series of Cycle Touring Backpacking, this tour will be to French Creek PA State Park, two days of vigorous cycling and one overnight camping. We will go out the Schuylkill River Trail to Servpro of Reading them up, and I mean up to the state park and campground. Return by Pughtown Rd, Phoenixville and the SRT. Cost about $25 for shared camp site and simple camp dinner plus personal expenses for lunches and coffee stops. Expected Saturday return around 5pm. More details by contacting leader. Rain or shine. Annual Trek to Mount Gretna - COVID-19 Mitigation Strategies in Effect

Leader: Linda McGrane, , 267-251-7862Beautiful ride through Lancaster and Lebanon Counties for an al fresco lunch at the historic Jigger Shop in the town of Mount Gretna, based on Dave Ziccardi's classic route. Moderately to dramatically rolling terrain with a few flat and sustained climbing sections on the way out. After the short climb out of Mount Gretna, the way back will be noticeably easier and will include a brief water stop. Anyone wanting to ride a slower pace and/or do fewer miles can opt for a self-guided (after mile 21.3), less hilly 48 mile route which skips Mt. Gretna. Start PROMPTLY AT 8:30, so please plan to arrive by 8:15, in order to stay ahead of the afternoon heat. If it's your first time doing this ride, please contact leader by evening by Friday evening, with questions re. driving directions or parking. Bad weather, including extreme heat, will cancel. A go/no-go message will be added to this listing by 6:30 a.m. if the weather is questionable. HEAT ADVISORY: Although this route is LOVELY, we will have limited amounts of shade.
