    Level D: 10mph, 25 miles. Meet at Cosmic Cafe, Lloyd Hall, # 1 Boathouse Row, Kelly Dr, East Fairmount Park . The ride leaves at 10:00 am. This is a much slower version of the Thursday Night Hill Ride! It is the shorter version for now but as we get into August we will do the longer route. Plus I do this backwards ounce in a while. Seven Hills! Out to Penn Valley, down Mill Creek Rd to Flat Rock Park on the Montgomery County banks of the Schuylkill River, up out of the valley via Hollow and Hagysford Rds.     Level C- through D: 10-11.5mph, 15-28 miles. Meet at Jacobs Engineering Parking Lot. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Gently paced, post-work evening ride to pedal away work stresses, suited for novices, newcomers to area, and/or anyone seeking low-intensity recovery ride. Meet in same parking lot as the "Multi-Level Conshohocken Rides". Start by riding on Schuylkill River Trail, and/or, Cross County Trail, which connects the Schuylkill w/Plymouth Meeting .     Level B: 15mph, 25 -35 miles. Meet at Italian Fountain behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. A moderately hilly ride conquering Main Line hills that regroups at the top of each climb. As the days lengthen, so does the ride and we should be nearing 30 - 35 miles by July. No riders doing the listed pace will be dropped. Cue sheets will not be available. Bike lights are highly recommended. Please bring a mask for when off the bike and review Club rules for COVID-19.     Level C: 12mph, 23 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. C version of the Thursday Hill Ride. Four steep hills in Gladwyne, and we wait at the top of each hill. Some climbing ability required. Please pre-register though not required. A mask is required for the meet-up but optional while riding. No ride if rain at start or NOAA forecast of 50 percent or more chance of rain during ride.

    Level B-: 14mph, 50 miles. Meet at Prophecy Creek Park, Skippack Pike/PA-73 at Narcissa Rd, between Butler Pike and Lewis Lane, next to Shady Grove Elementary School. The ride leaves at 9:15 am. Choice of places to eat at the mid-way point in Dublin - the Dam Good Cafe, pizzeria, IGA Market, etc. Dam Good Cafe is open for outdoor dining and take out. IGA Market would be a quicker food stop (and, outdoors). Terrain is mostly rolling. Most of the climbing is in the middle portion, but no severe climbs. Total elevation gain 2151 ft. On the return, if another water stop is needed, there is a shopping center at Mile 36, and a Wawa in North Wales at mile 41. Along the way, we'll ride through Gwynedd, Lansdale, Line Lexington, Colmar, and Blue Bell. Start/Finish at Prophecy Creek Park has a porta-potty. Pleasant morning ride to the newest attraction in the Wisahicon Park, the Papper Trail Bike Coffee Shop.     Sat July 4, 2020 - Early to Ride, early to Holiday Festivities. UDHS to Wawa in Jamison, then, Ice Cream at Sweet Briar. COVID Precautions in Effect. (ad-hoc ride)

    Level B-: 14-14.5mph, 42 miles. Meet at Upper Dublin High School. The ride leaves at 8:45 am. Pretty meander for early morning on the 4th for July, before we go to afternoon BBQ's and picnics with family. Quiet loop from Ft. Washington to Warrington/Jamison in Bucks County. Total climbing 2118 feet. Outdoor rest stop at Wawa is at Mile 23. Outbound via Horsham and Warrington, return via Jarrettown. ICE CREAM after the ride: when we return to UDHS, we can go ~1 mile down the road to Sweet Briar Cafe in Ambler for ice cream, frozen yogurt, etc. Sweet Briar is also an outdoor rest stop. Easy paced C ride out on the Schuylkill and Cynwyd Trails, then back through Gladwyne and Villanova. Rest stop at Trader Joe's in Ardmore at 15 miles.     Sat July 4, 2020 - 4th of July Ride for the hot dogs

    Level D: 9-12mph, 25-45 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 9:30 am. This will be an OWLS (Older, Wiser, Longer, Slower) paced ride for D riders to the Lower Perkiomen Valley Park . It will be a much longer D ride, but there are minimal hills. There will, also, be an option to take the train back to the start from Norristown. We will ride so that we can eat hot dogs half way through the ride. What better way to help celebrate a holiday. Bring helmet and mask (required by club rules). Bring extra tube, hand sanitizer, and water. The on-line route map is 7420 hot dog ride.

    Sun July 5, 2020 - BELMAR BEACH, NJ and Beyond, up to Ocean Grove and Asbury Park, COVID PRECAUTIONS IN EFFECT

    Level B-: 14mph, 79 miles. Meet at Etra Lake Park, Disbrow Hill Rd, East Windsor, NJ. The ride leaves at 9:00 am. In a seashore state of mind? Today, we'll visit the central Jersey shore in Monmouth County, beaches more familiar to New Yorkers. This scenic route is popular with the Princeton FreeWheelers. In addition to cycling along Ocean Drive in the pretty seaside towns of Spring Lake and Belmar, we’ll also ride around Perrineville Lake, Manasquan Reservoir, and Lake Como. Outdoor Lunch stop at Belmar Beach around mile 40, plus rest stops along the way, to and from Belmar. After Belmar, we will continue north along the Ocean Drive to the seashore towns of Ocean Grove and Asbury Park, before returning inland to the starting point. The middle of the route (near the beach) is flat. The beginning and end portions have very gently rolling hills, but nothing steep. We will stop to regroup as needed. Total elevation gain is 2265 ft. Driving Directions to the starting point at Etra Lake Park: 1) New Jersey Turnpike North to Exit 8 – Hightstown/Freehold (NJ-133). 2) From the Turnpike exit ramp, quickly turn right onto Milford Rd. 3) In 1.1 miles, turn left at “T” at County Rd 571/Etra-Perrineville Rd. (Etra Lake will be on your left.) 4) In 0.2 miles, turn left at 3-way onto Disbrow Hill Rd. Parking lot will be on your left. Please allow 75 mins driving time from Phila. Meet at Westlakes Corporate Center Parking on the Chester Valley Trail. This is behind the new Springhill Suites Hotel off of Rte. 252. We'll ride many of the roads that we use on the COS rides. Green Lane Park camp ground awaits our over night! We cycle out the Schyulkill River Tail and the Perkiomen CreekTrail with our tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, a change of clothing, towel and toiletries, on the rear rack of your bicyle. Share camp fee of $12.00. pack a lunch, recommend peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. We will eat dinner at a pizzaria full service restaurant. We will boil water for instant hot chocolate, coffee or tea in the morning before breaking camp. Full breakfast will be at a restaurant along the trail in Schwenksville. Easy-paced ride from the Barnes & Noble in Plymouth Meeting/Conshohocken to the Barnes & Noble in Valley Forge/Devon and back. Bathroom and snack break at the Barnes & Noble in Devon. The cafe at Barnes & Noble is open for carry out. Most of the route (outbound and return) will be on the flat Cross-County Trail and Schuylkill River Trail. This version, also starting at Upper Dublin's Loch Alsh Fields, includes passing by Pine Creek Reservoir, a loop around the southwest corner of Lake Galena, a food stop at Tabora's, (Mile 21), some beautiful miles in flat to rolling Hilltown Township, the stop at Bucks County Biscotti (Mile 35), a Peter Odell inspired "scenic OPTIONAL gravel climb" up Roberts Road, an ice cream stop at Freddy Hill Farms (Mile 47), and a return on the Crossways Trail and through Penlynn Natural Area.     Sun July 26, 2020 - HAMMONTON, NJ TO GREAT BAY/BLUEBERRY CENTURY - COVID PRECAUTIONS in EFFECT

    Level B-: 14-16mph, 108, or 75 miles. Meet at Hammonton Lake Park, Hammonton, NJ 08037, on S. Egg Harbor Rd/NJ-561. The ride leaves at 8:00 am. This ride is based on a route by Mike Krizauskas of BCP, SCU, and the Jersey Shore Cycle Club, originally planned to coincide with the Blueberry Festival in Hammonton, Blueberry Capital of the World. Mike K. has updated this route, to include scenic Lake Oswego, as well as other lakes, ponds, etc. On this 108-miler, there will be several rest stops The route, which is FLAT, will take us through blueberry farmlands, as well as quaint small towns in the Hammonton area. We'll cycle down to Lands End, that is, the end of the road at Great Bay. You'll see a wide menagerie of wildlife, as we cycle across the marshes toward the bay. You'll also see a facility along the bayshore which used to be a Coast Guard facility - it's now a marine research lab. Please note: we may have some headwinds, especially as we approach the bay. The 75-miler does not go to Land's End at Great Bay.     Sun July 26, 2020 - C Spin-off: Double edition

    Level C: 12mph, 45 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 12:15 pm. This will actually be two rides today. One will be a regular ride on a rambling route to Narberth, led by Chuck Herbert. C pace, 12 mph. Ride cheerfully waits to regroup. Some moderate climbs. Will be a food stop midway. The second, led by Jim Kahn, will be a short cruise through the park and then to the start of the Bicycle Coalition Solidarity Ride to honor the three young men who have died in cycling accidents in the last month and urge more steps to protect cyclists. The Club ride ends there and the Solidarity ride may be joined. The Solidarity ride will be a 12-mile slow ride from the Dell Music Center to East Laurel Hill Cemetery. At the end of that ride, Club members can join again for a quick C ride to Ardmore and back. Masks are required for assembly at the BCP ride and for the entire Coalition Solidarity ride. Social distancing is also required for all rides while on and off the bike. No rides if rain at start time or NOAA forecast of 50 pct or more chance of rain during ride.

Cycle Touring Backpacking to Atsion Lake in the Wharton State Forest and then cycle to Parvin NJ State Park for two nights or two nights at Atsion Lake camp ground and one night in the Parvin camp ground. Cycle peaceful roads in Eastern Montgomery Co. Mileage will depend on the length of evening daylight. Please bring lights in case we are delayed on our return. Occasionally, this ride may be cancelled, if there is a special club event at another location. SUGGESTED ROUTE for 7/27: a 28-mile loop from UDHS to Freddie Hill Farm in Lansdale/Kulpsville for some cold refreshment. This route can be shaved back in a few spots to trim off a couple of miles, if needed. We will be exploring a couple of paths and trails for the first time. A moderately hilly ride conquering Main Line hills that regroups at the top of each climb. As the days lengthen, so does the ride and we should be nearing 30 - 35 miles by July. We take a longer but easy route out of the Schuylkill River Valley to W Hunting Park Ave and Henry Ave, Walnut Lane Bridge then to W Springfield Ave, taking Valley Green Rd down to the Valley Green Inn on Forbidden Dr in the Wisahicon Par. The gravel road leads us down to Box 10 where we will enter Rittenhouse Town. The coffee shop is there.
