When? Saturday, February 25, 2023, 6:30 to 9:00pm (Back-up/Snow Date Sunday, Feb. 26, 4:30 to 7:00pm)
Where? Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, Cherokee Middle School Building. 8000 Cherokee St, Philadelphia, PA, 19118. We will be meeting in the state-of-the-art Presentation Room in Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL), on the first floor of the Middle School building. We will post signs outside and inside the building.
ALL cyclists are warmly welcome to attend this social meeting -- a presentation by several club members about their cycling tours & trips, sharing photos and/or videos & tales about bike adventures, from around the US, and abroad.
REFRESHMENTS will be served.
PARKING: Large parking lots on Cherokee Street near the Middle School Building.
PUBLIC TRANSIT: 3 blocks from the St. Martins train station (Chestnut Hill West Regional Rail line), on Willow Grove Avenue between St. Martins Lane and Seminole Street. The building is six blocks west of Germantown Avenue.
If you have photos & stories of bike journeys you’d like to share with your cycling pals, please contact Linda McGrane (267-251-7862, ) & Chuck Herbert (215-430-3222, ), by Wednesday, February 22. Please assemble your photos on a USB flash drive or CD/DVD and submit them in advance, this would be ideal. In order to plan an enjoyable evening for everyone, each presentation should last no more than 10-15 minutes and have no more than 50 images.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: If you are available to help at this event, THANK YOU for volunteering! Volunteer roles include: setting up (5:45 arrival at the venue), as well as clean-up at the end of the evening. Please contact Linda McGrane, , 215-267-7862.
