BCP offers many regularly scheduled weekly rides. Occasionally, ad-hoc rides are announced. These rides are sent by email to all members of the BCP email list. To join this list, click here. Sat September 21, 2019 - Early Bird Ride to Coffee in Lansdale (ad-hoc ride).
Level B/B-: 14.5-15mph, 60+/- miles. Meet at Italian Fountain behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 7:55 am. Assemble at 7:55. Depart at 8:00 SHARP! Going out via Ambler and Cedar Hill Road, return via Gwynedd Mercy University and Brushtown Road. Several hills, but no killers. 35-minute coffee stop at Backyard Beans. (It's all about the coffee!). Will regroup at top of hills if necessary, but riders are expected to maintain posted speed (what our computers read upon ride completion). PLEASE PREREGISTER: Saves time; increases my ability to read important emergency information; and does not matter if you ultimately decide not to ride, since we will leave at posted departure time with or without you. Sat September 21, 2019 - Main Line Cycles Brisk Ride.
Level A: 18mph, 40-55 miles. Meet at Main Line Cycles front of shop 919 Montgomery Ave. The ride leaves at 8:05 am. Great roads with low traffic. We have a few routes that bring us out around or through Ridley Creek State Park. Average speed will be 16-17 mph, but note that these routes include over 4000' of climbing. Bring a snack for a brief mid-ride break. Consider the on-line routes approximate. Leave by 8:05 AM. Rain cancels. Cue sheets will not be available. Sat September 21, 2019 - Toss of the dice.
Level C+: 12-14mph, 45-60 miles. Meet at Italian Fountain behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 9:00 am. Friendly C+ ride with various destinations: BE SURE TO CHECK THE DAILY RIDE CALENDAR FOR RIDE LEADER AND DESTINATION INFORMATION. Bring money for lunch. We will regroup as necessary and wait at turns within ride level expectations. YOU MUST CARRY A SPARE TUBE. Ride may be cancelled up to 1 hour prior to departure time.

Sat September 21, 2019 - Haddonfield, NJ - The Bistro at Haddonfield .
Level D: 10mph, 30 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 9:00 am. Nothing special, a simple ride to The Bistro at Haddonfield. Circling through Cooper River Park. Cue sheets will not be available.

Sat September 21, 2019 - Pottstown and Harleysville metric century.
Level B: 14.5-15mph, 62.5 miles. Meet at Valley Forge National Park - Betzwood Picnic Area (by bathrooms). The ride leaves at 9:00 am. Lots of low traffic roads with some hills (3900 feet total elevation). 2 full service rest stops (food, H2O, bathrooms), 23.3, 43.7 miles. Moderate "B" pace. Meet in the middle of the parking lot by the bathrooms. Cue sheets will be available.

Sat September 21, 2019 - Hills out West - Into Delaware.
Level B: 14.5-15.5mph, 68 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 9:05 am. Consider this the next step up from the Toss of the DIce "C+", further (50 - 70 miles) and with more hills (3000 - 5000). The average speed (measured at end of ride) is likely to be 14.5 - 15.5 mph, it is the hills that push this into the B category. We will regroup as needed, but riders are expected to ride group pace. . This week we picnic (buy food at Wawa or bring your own snack) in Delaware. 4,700 ft of climbing. Bring spare tube. Sat September 21, 2019 - SURLY DAY "Son of a Bump" Ride (ad-hoc ride).
Level C: 12.5mph, 14 miles. Meet at Trophy Bikes 611 N. 2nd St. Phila. PA 19123. The ride leaves at 12:00 pm. This gritty ride rattles over some of Philly's worst and most historic cobbled-and-train-tracked streets.... we strongly recommend chunky tires, steel frame (Surly not required), head gear, water, spare tube/tools, #2 pencil. No drop, lots of stops, beer after, if not during. Meets at Trophy Bikes in N. Libs. Sun September 22, 2019 - Kayuh Pedalers: Fall Rides.
Level C- through D: 10-12mph, 15-25 miles. Meet at Kayuh Bicycles & Cafe 19th St. & Girard Ave. The ride leaves at 9:00 am. This week, Cynwyd Trail / Manayunk Bridge. Helmet spare tube & water required. A no drop ride, with rest stops and re-group as needed. Helmet and Water a must. A light riding snack suggested. Plan on 2-3 hours. Sun September 22, 2019 - Sunny Sunday D Ride.
Level D: 9-12mph, 12-24 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 12:00 pm. OWLS (Older,Wiser,Longer,Slower) paced ride through Fairmount Park and beyond. Please bring, water, helmet(required by club), extra tube, and plenty of smiles. There will be a rest stop about 1/2 way, bring $ for mid ride snack.

Sun September 22, 2019 - Sunny Sunday C Spin-Off .
Level C: 12mph, 35 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 12:15 pm. A true C ride, which cheerfully waits to regroup. Probably go to Giant in Flourtown for lunch stop. It is optional, but you may preregister until Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 11:00 am.
