BCP offers many regularly scheduled weekly rides. Occasionally, ad-hoc rides are announced. These rides are sent by email to all members of the BCP email list. To join this list, click here. Fri November 15, 2019 - Friday Frolic w/Linda. UDHS to Doylestown. CO-LEADER(S) WELCOME.
Level B-: 14mph, 46 miles. Meet at Upper Dublin High School. The ride leaves at 9:45 am. For Nov. 15: Pretty loop from Upper Dublin High School to Doylestown for lunch. We enter Doylestown from the east end, and wind around the museum district, and pass some very pretty and quaint residential streets. Lunch stop in Doylestown is at mile 28 - we have a choice of food court in the supermarket, or, Panera. On the outbound, there is a Wawa at Mile 18, if a quick snack/bathroom break is needed. On the return, if another bathroom break is needed, there is a Wawa near Mile 39 on the cue sheet. Total climbing is 2236 ft. GENERIC DESCRIPTION: Scenic adventures by bike on most Fridays, throughout the year. Explore pretty, peaceful roads in suburban counties -- Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, etc. Starting points will vary, so that we can cycle through different regions. Please check daily calendar for details of each Friday's route -- terrain, mileage, rest stops, etc. Cue sheets and on-line route map provided for each ride. If weather conditions are not conducive to cycling, this ride may be replaced by a hike/walk, or snow activity. As long as we are enjoying outdoor exercise, and Mother Nature, in the company of friends, we'll have a memorable outing. Cue sheets will be available. Sat November 16, 2019 - CANCELLED I love (to cycle) New York! (ad-hoc ride).
Level C: 12mph, 40 miles. Meet at 30th station . The ride leaves at 5:30 am. Meet by 5:30 for 5:40a Trenton train to connect NJT to NY. Bring a strap to hang bike if needed. Lights are required, Ride Greenway trail along Hudson to Central Park, Cloisters, RaphaCC, Manhatten & Brooklyn bridges, with coffee/ lunch stops, also photo opps! Chinese dinner (6pm) spot a block away from Penn Station, there's couple trains in 7'o'clock hour to Trenton. ETA to Philly 11pm. Cue sheets will not be available.

Sat November 16, 2019 - Main Line Cycles Brisk Ride.
Level A: 18mph, 40-55 miles. Meet at Main Line Cycles front of shop 919 Montgomery Ave. The ride leaves at 8:05 am. Great roads with low traffic. We have a few routes that bring us out around or through Ridley Creek State Park. Average speed will be 16-17 mph, but note that these routes include over 4000' of climbing. Bring a snack for a brief mid-ride break. Consider the on-line routes approximate. Leave by 8:05 AM. Rain cancels. Cue sheets will not be available. Sat November 16, 2019 - Kayuh Pedalers: 2019 Rides: 2ed & 4th Saturdays.
Level C- through D: 11-14.5mph, 15-25 miles. Meet at Kayuh Bicycles & Cafe 19th St. & Girard Ave. The ride leaves at 9:00 am. These rides will focus local neighborhoods around Philadelphia County and will include places like old buildings, historic places and murals. Easy rides for new riders to biking, with Safety Instructions and How To ride in a group. A no drop ride with rest stops and re-group as needed. Helmet and Water a must. Sat November 16, 2019 - November Diner Rides - New Jersey .
Level D: 10mph, 25 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 9:00 am. EMPIRE DINER AND RESTAURANT, Brooklawn, NJ, is just across the Walt Witman Bridge. Of course no bikes are allowed over that bridge so we will cycle over the Ben Franklin Bridge, though Camden and along the closest street to the Delaware River in Gloucester City, NJ. Returning along the Camden Riverfront. Cue sheets will not be available. It is optional, but you may preregister until Friday, November 15, 2019 at 9:00 pm.

Sat November 16, 2019 - Winter Bee - Devon via Mt. Pleasant/Maplewood.
Level B: 14.5-15.5mph, 45 miles. Meet at Italian Fountain behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 9:00 am. Winter B ride with longer rides when warmer, shorter rides when colder. Total elevation 2,400 ft. The average speed (measured at end of ride) is likely to be 14.5 - 15.5 mph. We will regroup as needed, but riders are expected to ride the group pace. There will be a midway coffee/food stop. Check daily listing for GPS route information. A classic BCP B Ride to Devon for coffee. Ride may be cancelled up to an hour before ride time. Cue sheets will not be available. The on-line route map is Devon Ramble - Mt Pleasant/Maplewood. It is optional, but you may preregister until Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 8:00 am.

Sat November 16, 2019 - Elliot's birthday ride to Lumberville.
Level B-/C+: 13-14mph, 55 +/- miles. Meet at Upper Dublin High School. The ride leaves at 9:30 am. Help me celebrate my birthday with a ride to the Lumberville General Store. 13-14 mph Potty stops on the way out and back with lunch at the general store. Slower on hills, faster on flats. Riders should be able to maintain the average pace. Regroup as needed. No dropping the ride leader. Bring plenty to drink and an on bike snack. Rain cancels. Cue sheets will not be available. Sat November 16, 2019 - Elliot's Birthday Ride to Lumberville, Slightly Slower Pace.
Level C+: 12.5-13mph, 55+/- miles. Meet at Upper Dublin High School. The ride leaves at 9:30 am. With Elliot's approval, we'll have two speed groups for Elliot's Birthday Ride to Lumberville. Please see Elliot's ride description for details. On the outbound, there is a brief rest stop at Mile 15 at Del Val College Market. The lunch stop at Lumberville General Store is ~ Mile 27. On the return, there is a porta-potty stop ~ Mile 38-39. Looking forward to a scenic ride on Saturday, with a great rest stop at Lumberville, along the river! Level C+: 12-14mph, 45-60 miles. Meet at Italian Fountain behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 10:00 am. Friendly C+ ride with various destinations: BE SURE TO CHECK THE DAILY RIDE CALENDAR FOR RIDE LEADER AND DESTINATION INFORMATION. Bring money for lunch. We will regroup as necessary and wait at turns within ride level expectations. YOU MUST CARRY A SPARE TUBE. Ride may be cancelled up to 1 hour prior to departure time.
