BCP offers many regularly scheduled weekly rides. Occasionally, ad-hoc rides are announced. These rides are sent by email to all members of the BCP email list. To join this list, click here. Wed April 22, 2026 - Ride and Meet Up for Music Wednesdays and Thursdays 15 & 16 April and 22 &23 April..
Level D: 8mph, 15 miles. Meet at Cosmic Cafe, Lloyd Hall, # 1 Boathouse Row, Kelly Dr, East Fairmount Park . The ride leaves at 10:00 am. Ride to a free concert recital featuring a variety of young musicians from Curtis Music Institute. The ride will begin at 10:00, and end at 12:30 p.m. at historic St. Mark’s Church in Center City, 1625 Locust St. The student recital series shows off the amazing talents of students who will become tomorrow’s most famous classical musicians. They have already proved that by being good enough to train at Curtis. These are the Best of the Best! After meeting up at Cosmic Cafe we will ride to a convenient coffee shop for a short coffee/breakfast break. After some coffee and conversation, we will head over to St. Mark’s Church, lock our bikes securely, and enjoy the music. We can return to Boathouse Row or go our separate ways at the end of the recital. The recital is free, but you need to register in advance. Scroll down to the calendar at the following link and find the correct day/date. Wed April 22, 2026 - Delightful, Delicious Wednesday Summer Evening Rides, D/C+/C-.
Level C- through D: 9-12mph, 15-30 miles. Meet at Flourtown Shopping Center. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Most summer Wednesday evenings, weather permitting. Gently paced, post-work ride to pedal away stresses, suited for novice or returning riders, newcomers to the area, and/or anyone seeking a low-intensity recovery ride. Peaceful roads Eastern Mont Co, w/brief rest stop. Please bring lights. Preregistration saves you writing time at the start. Meet in parking lot of Flourtown Shop Ctr Bethlehem Pike (McDonald's in front, facing the Pike). In September, as evening daylight shortens, this ride will meet earlier (5:45, then, 5:30). Helmets are required on all club rides. Please also bring two bottles for water/Gatorade, as well as front & rear bike lights. RESTROOMS are available inside GIANT MARKET. Occasionally throughout the summer, we will finish with post-ride refreshments. PUBLIC TRANSIT access to Flourtown: the 94 Bus runs along Bethlehem Pike. Nearby train stations include Fort Washington, Glenside, Wyndmoor, and Chestnut Hill East & West. Cue sheets will be available. Preregistration is required, please preregister by Thursday, January 1, 1970 at 12:00 am.

Thu April 23, 2026 - Ride Yer Bike Tuesday on Thursday - 4 Paces .
Level B+ through C: 13-16mph, 41.2 miles. Meet at Hanusey Park , 4757 Gordon Rd Doylestown, PA 18901. The ride leaves at 9:30 am. Bring yer bike & sense of adventure. Expect good company on safe/low trafficked roads. Lunch stops may be sit down, takeout, or in a park. Will regroup as needed, but must be able to ride the posted pace. Must be willing to ride safely & obey traffic laws. Please complete the linked paperless sign-in form. Bathrooms available at all start locations. Check day of the ride if weather is iffy (rain cancels, but likely to reschedule for Wed.). Will make a call at least an hour prior to start time. NOTE: Ride starts at 9:15 in May & Sept., 9:00 June-Aug.(earlier if high temps) , and 9:30 in Oct. NOTE: Start location varies throughout the suburban region. Memorial/Labor Day weeks we'll ride on Wed. Cue sheets will not be available. The on-line route maps are: 41.2mi - Hanusey Park to Lahaska and PAPERLESS SIGN-IN FORM.

Thu April 23, 2026 - "C"vilized Thursday Evening Hill Ride.
Level C: 12mph, 25 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 5:31 pm. A true C version of the Thursday evening hill ride in Gladwyne, which cheerfully waits to regroup at the top of each of the hills climbed. Start time 5:31 in April and September, 6:01 May-August. It is optional, but you may preregister until Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 4:31 pm.

Thu April 23, 2026 - Delightful, Delicious "D" (and D+/C-) Ride, Summer Thursday evening Edition.
Level C- through D: 10-12.5mph, 15-30 miles. Meet at Jacobs Engineering Parking Lot. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Scheduled for most Thursday evenings throughout summer, weather permitting. Gently paced, post-work evening ride to pedal away work stresses, suited for novice or returning riders, newcomers to area, and/or anyone seeking a low-intensity recovery ride. Start by riding on Schuylkill River Trail, and/or, Cross County Trail, which connects the Schuylkill w/Plymouth Meeting . As riders get stronger, we can turn off the trails and explore some pretty roads in the area. Please bring LIGHTS in case we return close to dark. Our mileage will be determined by how much evening light we have. Occasionally, this ride may meet earlier in afternoon, due to other event in evening. In mid-September, ride will depart at 5:45 or 5:30, due to earlier sunset. Cue sheets will not be available. Preregistration is required, please preregister by Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 4:31 pm.

Thu April 23, 2026 - Chill Hills (2 groups).
Level B+: 16mph, B-: 14mph, 20 - 35 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. A two group ride: choose either B- or B+ . Moderately hilly rides that conquer the Main Line hills and regroups at the top of each climb . As the days lengthen, so does the ride. No riders doing the listed pace will be dropped. Bike lights are highly recommended. Optional after ride drink - Bring ID. Rain cancellations will be listed on web site up to 1 hour prior to ride. Preregistration requested as it ensures on-time departure. Cue sheets will not be available. The on-line route map is 20240425 BCP Hill . It is optional, but you may preregister until Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
