    Level B: 14.5mph, 35 miles. Meet at Valley Forge National Park, Betzwood Area (by rest rooms). The ride leaves at 9:00 am. Every Sunday through March, we will ride 17.5 miles to Hennings Market in Harleysville, do an indoor coffee break, then ride 17.5 miles back to Valley Forge. Cue sheets will be available.     Level C- through D: 10-12mph, 15-25 miles. Meet at Kayuh Bicycles & Cafe 19th St. & Girard Ave. The ride leaves at 9:00 am. This weeks destination will be determined by the weather. The warmer, the longer the ride. These rides will focus local neighborhoods around Philadelphia County and will include places like old buildings, historic places and murals. Easy rides for new riders to biking, with Safety Instructions and How To ride in a group. A no drop ride, with rest stops and re-group as needed. Helmet and Water a must.     Level B-: 14mph, 30-50 miles. Start location to be determined. The ride leaves at 9:45 am. Bring your 29er, CX, Gravel or equip your road bike with wider tires as we mashup rides across various asphalt, gravel and sometimes dirt terrains. Expect a good challenge as we grind gravel trails and hit a few climbs with great company for no other purpose than to have fun and put in a few unpaved miles.

    Level C+: 12-14mph, 45-60 miles. Meet at Italian Fountain behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 10:00 am. Friendly C+ ride with various destinations: BE SURE TO CHECK THE DAILY RIDE CALENDAR FOR RIDE LEADER AND DESTINATION INFORMATION. Bring money for lunch. We will regroup as necessary and wait at turns within ride level expectations. YOU MUST CARRY A SPARE TUBE. Ride may be cancelled up to 1 hour prior to departure time.

    Sun March 24, 2019 - SUNNY SUNDAY D RIDE - High Point Cafe at Allen Lane Station

    Level D: 9-11.5mph, 17 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 12:03 pm. A leisurely paced ride to the High Point Cafe at the historic and picturesque Allen Lane Station in Mt Airy. Our route will take us up Midvale Ave and over the recently renovated Walnut Lane Bridge (with new bike lanes!). This is a D ride open to all riders. Our pace will depend on the group. No one will be left behind. A helmet is required. Please bring $ for our mid-ride stop, extra tube, and water. Some instruction is available. It is optional, but you may preregister until Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 9:00 am.

    Level C: 12mph, 25 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 12:15 pm. A true C ride, which cheerfully waits to regroup. Should be a nice day. We will head to the Ardmore Wawa for a sidewalk snack and bathroom break. It is optional, but you may preregister until Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 11:00 am.

    Tue March 26, 2019 - Bulldog

    Levels B/B-: 14.5-15mph, 25-35 miles. Meet at Bulldog Statue, 25th St. and Pennsylvania Ave.. The ride leaves at 5:45 pm. Early start to season with shorter, slower ride at B- pace. Ride length will increase with daylight and pace will pickup to B/B+ by summer. Headlights and taillights required.     Wed March 27, 2019 - "Gear Up for Spring" Seminar & Social Meeting

    Meet at Giant Bicycles/Village Velo bike shop, 3 Dekalb Pike, Bridgeport, PA 19405. The event starts at 6:30 pm. BCP is please to host this seminar, to help our members enjoy the return to early spring bike rides, with more comfort, energy-efficiency, and good mechanical performance from our bikes. Physical therapists will present "spring training" exercises to maximize physical fitness and stamina for the return to spring cycling, with less fatigue, less discomfort, and lower risk of injury. A bike mechanic will present spring cleaning, maintenance, & tune-up essentials for our bikes to maximize performance and energy-efficiency. The mechanic will also display accessories which are helpful for the fickle weather in spring, when it's cool in the morning, but warm in the afternoon. "Happy Half-Hour" begins at 6:30pm for refreshments and socializing, and the program begins at 7:00. There will be a brief intermission between presentations for refreshments and socializing. VENUE: Giant Bicycles/Village Velo of Brigeport is directly across the Schuylkill River from the SRT, near the Norristown Transit Center. PARKING is available on-site - there is a large, free, off-street parking lot next to the shop. PUBLIC TRANSIT access includes the Manayunk train line, which stops at the Norristown Transportation Center, directly across the river from the venue. The SEPTA 99 bus runs along Dekalb St, and stops in front of the shop. VOLUNTEERS are NEEDED to help with set-up (5:45), and with clean-up at the end of the program.     Thu March 28, 2019 - Ride Thursdays! SRT , Conshy to Phoenixville

    Level B-: 14-14.5mph, 40 miles. Meet at Jacobs Engineering Parking Lot. The ride leaves at 10:00 am. oin us for for early season Flat ride on the SRT, west to Phoenixville for sit down coffee stop. . Loop in VF Park for just a little hill climbing, and out the Perkiomen trail for a few more miles. NO drops but should be able to keep stated pace. Ride will depart from the Ash Street Parking lot, in Conshy opposite the Jacobs Engineering Bldg. Riders can park at the Plymouth meeting IKEA and cycle south on Cross County Trail, to meet us on the SRT IF you prefer. Please give me a heads up if you are doing that. Co-LEADERS WELCOME!     Fri March 29, 2019 - Friday Frolic w/Linda. This is the generic description. Specific details will be posted on daily calendar for each Friday.

    Level B-: 14mph, 45-50, +/- miles. Start location to be determined. The ride leaves at 9:30 am. Enjoy scenic adventures by bike on most Fridays, throughout the year. Explore pretty, peaceful roads in suburban counties -- Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, etc. Starting points will vary, so that we can cycle through different regions. Please check daily calendar for details of each Friday's route -- terrain, mileage, rest stops, etc. Cue sheets and on-line route map provided for each ride. If weather conditions are not conducive to cycling, this ride may be replaced by a hike/walk, or snow activity. As long as we are enjoying outdoor exercise, and Mother Nature, in the company of friends, we'll have a memorable outing. Cue sheets will be available.

    Level D: 10mph, 45 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 9:00 am. I have never been on the Chester Creek Trail, so it's about time I did. Come along with me to experience this short but potentially long trail, one of the spokes of the Circuit Trail System. Pack a lunch for a picnic along the banks of the Chester Creek.     Levels A: 16-17mph, 40-55 miles. Meet at Main Line Cycles front of shop 919 Montgomery Ave. The ride leaves at 9:05 am. Great roads with low traffic. We have a few routes that bring us out around or through Ridley Creek State Park. Average speed will be 16-17 mph, but note that these routes include over 4000' of climbing. Bring a snack for a brief mid-ride break. Consider the on-line routes approximate. Leave by 9:05 AM. Rain cancels. Cue sheets will not be available.     Sat March 30, 2019 - Scenic Adventure: Doylestown to Hunterdon County, NJ CO-LEADER(S) WELCOME

    Level B-: 14mph, 55 miles. Meet at Central Park in Doylestown - Wells Rd between Turk and Lower State/Court St.. The ride leaves at 9:30 am. Special and scenic adventure from Doylestown through Upper Bucks County, into Hunterdon County, NJ, on [mostly] peaceful and pretty country roads. Outbound via Buckingham, Lahaska, and Ringoes, returning via Stockton, Bulls Island, and Carversville. Before crossing the river into NJ, we have an optional quick Wawa stop at mile 17. Indoor rest stop at the Carousel Deli in Ringoes at mile 26. On the return, we will be in Carversville at mile 45 - we can stop at the Carversville Store if needed for a bathroom/snack break. Total elevation gain is 2461 feet - rolling, but nothing too steep. We will stop to regroup as needed. No one dropped, but we will try to maintain 13mph or greater, as advertised. Plan is to return by 3:00-3:30pm. CO-LEADERS WELCOME: If you would like to lead this ride at an alternative speed, thank you! This will allow more riders to enjoy the ride at a comfortable pace.     Sat March 30, 2019 - Quad Training Ride (and Bikeworks Yard Sale) (ad-hoc ride)

    Levels A-: 16mph, B-: 14mph, 48 miles. Meet at Centre Square Park, 1527 Yost Road, Blue Bell, PA 19422. The ride leaves at 10:00 am. Come join us for a ride out to Green Lane Park to get our legs ready for SCU's annual Quad County Century. The route will be a little hilly, but nothing outrageous (~50 ft/mi). On the way we will stop at the Indian Valley Bikeworks Yard Sale for a water and snack break at mile 15. We'll pass through the Quad start in Green Lane Park at mile 24. On the way back there will be stop at Wawa in Zieglerville for coffee and quick lunch at mile 30. Wes will lead at 16 mph and Steve at 14 mph.     Level D: 9-12.5mph, 12-24 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 12:00 pm. (Older,Wiser,Longer,Slower) paced ride through Fairmount Park and beyond depending on the group assembled. Please wear helmet(required by club), dress for winter weather, extra tube, water, and $ for mid ride snack stop. Instructional biking tips will be available for new riders. There might be a hill or two for resistance as well as aerobic training. Recovery time at top of hills will be available. Please bring smiles, stories, jokes, and a good sense of humor
