    Levels B+/B: 16mph, 60 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum.. The ride leaves at 7:30 am. This week, we're getting out early to beat the heat. 60 miles out to Skippack. Friendly ride - it'll be fun. We will regroup at the top of hills, but riders should be able to keep the posted average pace. Please bring a spare tube and money for the coffee stop. Cue sheets will not be available.     Level B-: 14mph, 33 miles. Meet at 375 Conshohocken State Road Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004. The ride leaves at 8:30 am. (Departure time may vary! Please CHECK DAILY RIDE CALENDAR!) Various friendly rides ranging 30 - 65 miles (Off Season) 40 – 85 miles (In Season) with occasional century rides. We will regroup as needed, but riders are expected to ride group pace.     Sat June 6, 2026 - RIDE CLOSED Let's go to Rehobeth! 3 nights of camping, 4 days of riding! Sat June 6, 2026 , Sunday June 7, Monday June 8, Tuesday June 9- 3 nights of bike camping, 4 days of riding!! PHL to Woodbine to Cape Henlopen to Atlantic City.

    Levels C: 12mph, C-: 11mph, 65 miles. Meet at Foot of Ben Franklin Bridge. The ride leaves at 8:30 am. Let's continue our bike camping adventures by going for three nights and four days! Saturday, Day 1 we will ride approximately 60 miles from Philadelphia to Woodbine NJ and camp in a friend's yard. Sunday, Day 2 we will ride to the Cape May ferry and then onwards to Cape Henlopen state park which is another 30 miles. We will set up camp in Cape Henlopen and spend Sunday and Monday night there. Monday, Day 3-- is a day to do what you want--- ride to Rehobeth, back to Lewes, or hang on the beach. ( don't forget your bathing suit!) Tuesday, Day 4, we will be up bright and early, break down camp and head back to the ferry and back to NJ. We will ride to Atlantic City ( about 66 miles) and take NJT back home ( about 66 miles). This is a rain or shine event as two campsites have already been reserved. The $136 cost of the campsite will be divided amongst registered participants when registration closes. We also donate $10 a person to Kate, our host the first night to thank her for being so generous. Bring money for ferry, trains, food etc ( 8 people max, so $17/ person + $10 for Kate= $27) Campsites D21 and D 23 This means that if you sign up and change your mind, after registration closes, you will still be expected to pay your share.     Sat June 6, 2026 - RIDE CLOSED Reprise of Annual Trek to Mount Gretna Updated Route by Charlie B - 5 Stars! New rwgps.com route number.

    Level B-: 13-13.5mph, 77/53 miles. Meet at Shady Maple Farm Market on PA-23 in Goodville, Lancaster Co. (PA Turnpike West to Morgantown/Exit 298. Take PA-10 South for 1 mile to PA-23 West. Right at PA-23. Straight on 23 West for 8 miles, then turn left into Shady Maple parking lot. The ride leaves at 8:30 am. For June 6: Repeat of this Beautiful ride through Lancaster and Lebanon Counties for an al fresco lunch at the historic Jigger Shop in the town of Mount Gretna, based on the classic route led by Eduardo Ruchelli and Dave Ziccardi. Hopefully, this windy on June 6! Moderately to dramatically rolling terrain with a few flat and sustained climbing sections on the way out. After the short climb out of Mount Gretna, the way back will be noticeably easier and will include a brief water stop. Anyone wanting to ride a slower pace and/or do fewer miles can opt for a self-guided (after mile 21.3), less hilly 53 mile route which skips Mt. Gretna. Prompt start at 8:30, in order to beat the afternoon heat. If it's your first time doing this ride, please contact leader by evening by Friday evening, with questions re. driving directions or parking. Bad weather, including extreme heat, will cancel. A go/no-go message will be added to this listing by 6:30 a.m. if the weather is questionable. HEAT ADVISORY: Although this route is LOVELY, we will have limited amounts of shade. Please bring (and consume) plenty of fluids and electrolyte snacks, and please remember the sunblock. Total climbing is 4004 ft. REST STOPS: On the outbound and return, we will stop at convenience stores/gas stations. The mid-way LUNCH STOP, Jigger Shop, is open for outside patio seating. This classic route is very scenic, but very challenging, with vigorous climbs. The difficulty rating is at least a "B" for terrain.     Levels C+/C: 13.5mph, 62.5 miles. Meet at Bird-in Hand Family Inn. The ride leaves at 9:00 am. The marquee ride of BCP’s Cycling in Pennsylvania Dutch Country Weekend, starting at the Bird-in-Hand Inn in Bird-in-Hand PA. We'll ride through rolling farmland north to Ephrata, east to New Holland, then back south through Intercourse, Paradise and Strasburg. The route crosses 7 covered bridges and goes past one other. Riders may spot a steam train in the fields near Strasburg. There are several mid-ride breaks along the way, including for lunch. (A thrid ride group might be added.)     Level C- through D: 10-12.5mph, 15-29 miles. Meet at Mondauk Park. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Scheduled for most Monday evenings throughout summer, weather permitting. Gently paced, post-work evening ride to pedal away the day's stresses, suited for novice or returning riders, newcomers to the area, and/or anyone seeking a low-intensity, relaxed, recovery ride. Cycle peaceful roads in Eastern Mont Co. Brief rest stop for quick snack/bathroom break half-way through. Planned mileage will depend on the length of evening daylight. Speed and distance will also depend on the riders in our group. Please bring lights in case we are delayed on our return. Toward the end of the season (mid-September), this ride will need to leave earlier (5:45 or 5:30pm), due to evening daylight ending earlier. START/FINISH at Mondauk Park: 1451 Dillon Rd, Ambler, PA 19002. This is just north of Susquehanna Rd. Look for the gravel parking lot near the restrooms and pavilion.     Tue June 9, 2026 - Ride Yer Bike Tuesday

    Levels B+ through C: 13-16mph, 40-48 miles. Start location to be determined. The ride leaves at 9:00 am. Bring yer bike & sense of adventure. Expect good company on safe/low trafficked roads. Lunch stops may be sit down, takeout, or in a park. Will regroup as needed, but must be able to ride the posted pace. Must be willing to ride safely & obey traffic laws. Please complete the linked paperless sign-in form. Bathrooms available at all start locations. Check day of the ride if weather is iffy (rain cancels, but likely to reschedule for Wed.).     Tue June 9, 2026 - Tuesday Ride to Lower Merion- NEW TIME AT 10:00 AM!

    Level C: 12mph, 20-30 miles. Meet at Cosmic Cafe, Lloyd Hall, # 1 Boathouse Row, Kelly Dr, East Fairmount Park . The ride leaves at 10:00 am. This is a generic description of the ride which will go to one of three destinations every Tuesday:GET Cafe in Narberth; Farmers’ Market in Ardmore or Whole Foods in Wynnewood. Some climbing of 800 to 1000 feet. First part of ride will generally mean a climb into Fairmount Park, across the Strawberry Mansion Bridge up to Chamounix. And then proceed up Bryn Mawr Avenue. and on to our final destination of Narberth, Ardmore or Wynnewood. On an ad hoc basis we may include new destinations and advance notice will be provided along with details. Always a fun group of friendly people so come on out! Cue sheets will not be available.     Level C- through D: 9.5-11.5mph, 12-30 miles. Meet at Glenside Public Library parking lot. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Relaxed-pace evening rides on Tuesdays throughout summer. Distance and pace will depend on the riders in our group. (Sunset time will also determine distance.) This ride is suited for novice or returning riders, newcomers to the area, and/or anyone seeking a low-intensity recovery ride. Enjoy pretty and peaceful roads in eastern Montgomery County, pedaling away the stresses of the workday. We usually take a brief rest break mid-ride, depending on distance. Please bring water/Gatorade and a snack with you. Please also bring LIGHTS, in case we have a delay and are returning close to dark. Toward the end of summer (September), starting time will need to be pushed earlier to 5:45, then 5:30, due to earlier sunset.     Level C- through D: 9-12mph, 15-30 miles. Meet at Flourtown Shopping Center. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Most summer Wednesday evenings, weather permitting. Gently paced, post-work ride to pedal away stresses, suited for novice or returning riders, newcomers to the area, and/or anyone seeking a low-intensity recovery ride. Peaceful roads Eastern Mont Co, w/brief rest stop. Please bring lights. Preregistration saves you writing time at the start. Meet in parking lot of Flourtown Shop Ctr Bethlehem Pike (McDonald's in front, facing the Pike). In September, as evening daylight shortens, this ride will meet earlier (5:45, then, 5:30). Helmets are required on all club rides. Please also bring two bottles for water/Gatorade, as well as front & rear bike lights. RESTROOMS are available inside GIANT MARKET. Occasionally throughout the summer, we will finish with post-ride refreshments. PUBLIC TRANSIT access to Flourtown: the 94 Bus runs along Bethlehem Pike. Nearby train stations include Fort Washington, Glenside, Wyndmoor, and Chestnut Hill East & West. Cue sheets will be available.     Level C- through D: 10-12.5mph, 15-30 miles. Meet at Jacobs Engineering Parking Lot. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Scheduled for most Thursday evenings throughout summer, weather permitting. Gently paced, post-work evening ride to pedal away work stresses, suited for novice or returning riders, newcomers to area, and/or anyone seeking a low-intensity recovery ride. Start by riding on Schuylkill River Trail, and/or, Cross County Trail, which connects the Schuylkill w/Plymouth Meeting . As riders get stronger, we can turn off the trails and explore some pretty roads in the area. Please bring LIGHTS in case we return close to dark. Our mileage will be determined by how much evening light we have. Occasionally, this ride may meet earlier in afternoon, due to other event in evening. In mid-September, ride will depart at 5:45 or 5:30, due to earlier sunset. Cue sheets will not be available. Preregistration is required, please preregister by Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 5:59 pm.

    Thu June 11, 2026 - Chill Hills (Two paces)

    Levels B+: 16mph, B-: 14mph, 20 - 35 miles. Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. A two pace ride: choose either B- or B+ . Moderately hilly rides that conquer the Main Line hills and regroups at the top of each climb . As the days lengthen, so does the ride. No riders doing the listed pace will be dropped. Bike lights are highly recommended. Optional after ride drink - Bring ID. Rain cancellations will be listed on web site up to 1 hour prior to ride. Preregistration requested as it ensures on-time departure. Cue sheets will not be available. It is optional, but you may preregister until Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 5:00 pm.

A true C version of the Thursday evening hill ride in Gladwyne, which cheerfully waits to regroup at the top of each of the hills climbed. Start time 5:31 in April and September, 6:01 May-August.     Fri June 12, 2026 - Friday Frolic w/Linda. This is the generic description. Specific details will be posted on daily calendar for each Friday.

    Level B-: 14mph, 45-50, +/- miles. Start location to be determined. The ride leaves at 9:30 am. Enjoy scenic adventures by bike on most Fridays, throughout the year. Explore pretty, peaceful roads in suburban counties -- Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, etc. Starting points will vary, so that we can cycle through different regions. Please check daily calendar for details of each Friday's route -- terrain, mileage, rest stops, etc. Cue sheets and on-line route map provided for each ride. If weather conditions are not conducive to cycling, this ride may be replaced by a hike/walk, or snow activity. As long as we are enjoying outdoor exercise, and Mother Nature, in the company of friends, we'll have a memorable outing. Cue sheets will be available.     Levels C: 12mph Meet at Azalea Garden's formal entrance, behind the Art Museum. The ride leaves at 12:15 pm. A true C ride, which cheerfully waits to regroup. Usually 25-35 miles with a lunch or snack stop. Some climbing is required.

    Mon June 29, 2026 - Delightful, Delicious D (& D+/C-) Ride, Monday Evening Edition

    Level C- through D: 10-12.5mph, 15-29 miles. Meet at Mondauk Park. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Scheduled for most Monday evenings throughout summer, weather permitting. Gently paced, post-work evening ride to pedal away the day's stresses, suited for novice or returning riders, newcomers to the area, and/or anyone seeking a low-intensity, relaxed, recovery ride. Cycle peaceful roads in Eastern Mont Co. Brief rest stop for quick snack/bathroom break half-way through. Planned mileage will depend on the length of evening daylight. Speed and distance will also depend on the riders in our group. Please bring lights in case we are delayed on our return. Toward the end of the season (mid-September), this ride will need to leave earlier (5:45 or 5:30pm), due to evening daylight ending earlier. START/FINISH at Mondauk Park: 1451 Dillon Rd, Ambler, PA 19002. This is just north of Susquehanna Rd. Look for the gravel parking lot near the restrooms and pavilion.     Tue June 30, 2026 - Ride Yer Bike Tuesday

    Levels B+ through C: 13-16mph, 40-48 miles. Start location to be determined. The ride leaves at 9:00 am. Bring yer bike & sense of adventure. Expect good company on safe/low trafficked roads. Lunch stops may be sit down, takeout, or in a park. Will regroup as needed, but must be able to ride the posted pace. Must be willing to ride safely & obey traffic laws. Please complete the linked paperless sign-in form. Bathrooms available at all start locations. Check day of the ride if weather is iffy (rain cancels, but likely to reschedule for Wed.). Will make a call at least an hour prior to start time. NOTE: Ride starts at 9:15 in May & Sept., 9:00 June-Aug.(earlier if high temps) , and 9:30 in Oct. NOTE: Start location varies throughout the suburban region. Memorial/Labor Day weeks we'll ride on Wed. Most weeks there will be 4 groups 13, 14, 15 and 16 mph Cue sheets will not be available.

    Tue June 30, 2026 - Tuesday Ride to Lower Merion- NEW TIME AT 10:00 AM!

    Level C: 12mph, 20-30 miles. Meet at Cosmic Cafe, Lloyd Hall, # 1 Boathouse Row, Kelly Dr, East Fairmount Park . The ride leaves at 10:00 am. This is a generic description of the ride which will go to one of three destinations every Tuesday:GET Cafe in Narberth; Farmers’ Market in Ardmore or Whole Foods in Wynnewood. Some climbing of 800 to 1000 feet. First part of ride will generally mean a climb into Fairmount Park, across the Strawberry Mansion Bridge up to Chamounix. And then proceed up Bryn Mawr Avenue. and on to our final destination of Narberth, Ardmore or Wynnewood. On an ad hoc basis we may include new destinations and advance notice will be provided along with details. Always a fun group of friendly people so come on out! Cue sheets will not be available.     Tue June 30, 2026 - Delightful, Delicious D/D+/C- Summer Evening Tuesday Rides

    Level C- through D: 9.5-11.5mph, 12-30 miles. Meet at Glenside Public Library parking lot. The ride leaves at 6:00 pm. Relaxed-pace evening rides on Tuesdays throughout summer. Distance and pace will depend on the riders in our group. (Sunset time will also determine distance.) This ride is suited for novice or returning riders, newcomers to the area, and/or anyone seeking a low-intensity recovery ride. Enjoy pretty and peaceful roads in eastern Montgomery County, pedaling away the stresses of the workday. We usually take a brief rest break mid-ride, depending on distance. Please bring water/Gatorade and a snack with you. Please also bring LIGHTS, in case we have a delay and are returning close to dark. Toward the end of summer (September), starting time will need to be pushed earlier to 5:45, then 5:30, due to earlier sunset.
